The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! It's generally quite busy so it's good to make a reservation beforehand if you want to go here. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because just ~1 hour after sitting down, they gave us about a 5 minute notice to pay and leave since they had to clear our table for other people who were waiting. We had made a reservation online well beforehand. They didn't tell us there would be a time limit and it just felt unexpected and rushed all of a sudden after the 1 hour.

Food was amazing!!! Had fish tacos and cerviche- savoured every bite. Fresh and hearty.Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Stayed in the heated patio area and watched the ocean. Blissful!One less star because although fast, service wasn’t overly attentive. No one refilled water nor checked on us for most of the meal.

Had the Birria de huitlacoche and Halibut Al Pastor. The Birria was very flavorful and a very nice spice to it. However, the risotto in the Halibut Al Pastor tasted extremely bland and had no flavor at all which basically killed the dish for me since it was 70% rissoto. I'll say they do a great job on presentation though.

Food was decent. Had their tacos and burritos. Not the best mexican I have ever had but very yummy still. You pay for the location as it is overpriced, but what is not these days.I would give them another try, would love to have their branch menu. Maybe I will understand then why people rave about this place.

I recently visited Zapoteca, I ordered Del Mar and Caramela dishes, both served in a hot stone mortar, which was perfect for sharing. Del Mar was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor, but we found the portion size to be quite small for sharing. Caramel was decent in portion size, but it lacked some flavor depth, such as salt or spice. Nevertheless, the meat quality was top-notch.The Horchata water was a delightful beverage that provided a sweet, refreshing taste. However, it was quite sugary, which may not be to everyone's liking.

Well when I chose this restaurant for Cinco de Mayo, I thought there would be some kind of celebration. However not only was there no celebration, no drink specials no food specials, there also wasn't any decorations or special music at all. It was a huge disappointment.The margarita I ordered was very small for the $12 that it cost me, and full of ice.The dinner that we ordered, the seafood molcajete was good, tasty, however very small for the price! Also it was served with a tiny bowl of rice, equaling about two tablespoons per person. It was a share plate for two, but only had one piece of octopus. Also it was served with crispy corn tortillas instead of soft tortillas, so you couldn't even put your food into the tortilla to eat it like you do traditionally when you order this meal. I'm not even sure what the crispy tortillas were for? There was nothing to dip them in, and they were so hard and crispy, that if you had you tried to put anything on them, it would have flown off when you took a bite. Not to mention that they were overcooked.It was a lot of money, $120 for 2 drinks and a shared dish in a sterile looking establishment, not having any depiction of Mexico at all. Overall, disappointing, especially if you've been to Mexico.

Go for scenery only , don’t expect excellent food experience. Steak is just okay.. meat is not delicious.. presentation is nice though

Delicious and fresh flavours. The space is very comfy and inviting with a beautiful open restaurant and patio for the summer.It gets quite busy during dinner time but you can reserve your table before you go. Tonight we didn’t reserve but got lucky with the seating and did not have to wait long.
