Pretty disappointed in the lack of customer service I experienced today. As a former employee/management of reitmans for 4+ years I know how they stress their priority of assisting the guests who come into the store with what they may need. I also understand how when there are rushes it’s hard to do this. The store was empty today, I walked in, and walked around for 15 minutes, was never once greeted. I had about 10 items in my hand, was struggling to reach items that were on a high rack and was never offered a fitting room or assistance. Once i asked to be put in a fitting room, I wasn’t checked on once, or asked if I needed any help (which I did require a couple of different sizes that I had to go out and search for myself) and then when I was ready to check out I waited for a while at the cash, and again, no one else was in the store. This was at 2pm. It was a pretty sad experience.**** update***Today, at 130 pm I had the exact same experience with the same management. I went in, no one else was in the store, the manager was just standing there talking with another employee and I was never acknowledged, nor asked if I needed any assistance. This was the first time in 3 months I had been back to the store since the incident above, and it’s safe to say I will not be going back. The store had exactly what I needed but I decided to buy elsewhere due to the horrible non existent customer service.
