Lighting controls & AV systems

Trainers are incredibly condescending and do not foster an atmosphere of collegiality to promote learning. They will call you out for past programming errors in class, and not in a constructive manner. Multiple students were embarrassed in this way. This seems to be a culture problem at Crestron, as the online trainers (based in the US) often behave similarly. Please stop treating your classes like your personal fiefdom. We are all here to learn to the best of our abilities so that we can use and sell your products.

We built a beautiful high end home 9 years ago and put Crestron automated lighting and other controls. The experience has been terrible.The dealer who has all the control over programming and repair has held us hostage with little or no service for years.We can’t just call any electrician to fix it.A number of years back I called Crestron Canada to express our problems and got no help.Today I am sitting in my house after having retina eye surgery with the lights and tv turning on and off On their own with no control. We bought a halve dozen night lights to make sure I do not trip in the dark and go blind in that eye.This is first time in my life posting anything, do not know if will be heard but if it is I’m sure you can hear my frustration.
