Taylor North Medical & Walk -In Clinic

Clinic it’s impossible to reach to make an appointment. And every interaction I’ve had with the front desk staff has been less than inviting. Very rude. (Not all of them). I had to fill a prescription and the doctor gave the wrong medication. Pharmacy asked me to get it changed and the woman treated me like I was the one who messed up. Wouldn’t smile, wouldn’t even say a word to me. Even when I said thank you after she brought back the new paper she just glared at me and walked away. Last time I was there the doctor told me to call with an update for my daughter and the woman at the front refused to make a phone appointment for me even though that’s specifically what he had said to do. Very much dislike this location since it changed from saint Mary’s

Doctor Odendaal, is beyond amazing. He is kind, caring and is the ideal doctor for anyone seeking attention to detail and kindness. He has made such a significant impact on me and how I view a good healthcare provider. Keep being awesome !

Good luck getting through on the phone….and if you’re lucky enough too, you can expect the staff to be very rude and try to rush you through the conversation.The staff just lied to me today about NEEDING my pharmacy to submit a request for a prescription refill…only to call the pharmacy and find out from them, that’s not true.The staff at Taylor North could very easily refill a prescription, but as usual they chose to be difficult and completely useless today instead.Thanks Taylor North!You completely wasted my time again today.

Save your time going to this joke of a clinic. Front desk staff was amazing. Saw Dr. Sheopershad and explained my symptoms and stated from a ton of past experience that I knew what I did not have. He stated we needed to test for that, only for it to come back barely elevated. Didn’t offer any other testing based on the symptoms I provided. Was probably the slowest, most unprofessional encounter I’ve ever had.

I will begin by saying that we love Dr Sheopershad and have had great care from him for many years, however this clinic is very difficult to reach on the phone. I have never had to email a clinic to book an appointment before and the 24hr turn around is not helpful. The website says the phone appointment line closes at 4:30, but I began calling today before 4pm and reached the same message every time. Clearly the office is either understaffed or disorganised. Either way, accessibility is an issue.

They had a sign saying they were at capacity, which was fine, but then they had hand written “yes it’s true”. Unprofessional & rude. Plus I had tried contacting them by phone and the receptionist sounded like this was the last thing she wanted to do. All sighs and “I can’t hear you” then she hung up. This is not what i expected from this clinic at all. They used to be really nice. Hopefully the doctors are still as good, shame about the staff.

Zero stars this is the worst clinic in Red DeerDr Sheopershad Is highly negligent. Unfortunately He is my grandmother’s family doctor we went to see him 6 months ago because she had some foot pain. In the appointment he didn’t even bother looking at her once the whole time he stared at the screened. Gave us zero help or advice never sent her to get examen as he said it was because of the shoes she wore. Now we have discovered the pain was from 2 blockage in her arteries she is about to lose one of her toes.Please never see this Doctor he is highly negligent and we will send a complain to AHS. Horrible clinic the staff at reception are also rude.

Horrible front end staff except for the brown hair girl with glasses she’s always been pleasant . Rude to patients, no phone manners . Need to get rid and start over with new ppl ! ! Def turns patients off not a good look!

Dr. Badenhorst is a gem, truly a great doctor. The problem with his clinic is trying to get a hold of anyone that works there. Often times I need to call or email to get paperwork back, I haven't been paid in 3 weeks by Manulife and I still don't have my paperwork back after a week, and this is a common occurrence. Overall I'd recommend this clinic solely because Dr. Badenhorst is such a good doctor, but expect delays. Their information states they open at 8:30 and close at 5:30. Often times I get the automated message saying it's either after hours or they're on lunch. This is what I'm currently dealing with 45 minutes after they opened. It's fine if they're busy, but at least have your phones turned on.

I came to this location today at 8am before they opened so I could make sure I could get in without waiting long. I have never been to this location before so when I entered I asked for the walk-in clinic and they said it’s not open until 8:30. I asked if I could sit inside and they said yes. When they opened the gates I asked if I could sign in and they said I would have to wait for all of the people in line outside. I am not able to stand outside in -20 for long periods of time as I am having back issues. The lady with the red hair especially was so rude and should definitely not be in customer service. I work in healthcare and I understand that people are coming in for all sorts of issues and backgrounds so the front staff should be providing at least a basic caring personality. I rarely leave a bad review but this is somewhere I should feel comfortable to get medical help.
