My son and I went to La Louve last night and could not have had a better dinner and experience at a restaurant. We sat at the bar/kitchen counter and were able to see the care, talent and (logistical skills too) of Pierre-André the chef, all the while appearing un-rushed and able to talk with us and explain the dishes and the origins of the ingredients.The taste was amazing, the service and wine selection by the glass from Andréanne rounded out what was a fabulous experience and evening. Merci beaucoup!!

Best dinner experience in Quebec. Worth the trip to come to Baie-Saint-Paul only for this restaurant. Loved the open kitchen concept. Chef David makes amazing dishes. Aldrina (sorry if I got your name spell wrong) was very pleasant and made me one of the best mocktail I’ve ever had! Thank you both for your hospitality. Highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant! The food was exquisite we loved the veal and tataki. They promote local ingredients and the wine pairing was on point. The staff was super nice and welcoming. A big thanks to you both!

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff took the time to explain each dish in-depth, including where specific ingredients were sourced from (in English). It was also exciting to try some unique wines which were recommended by the staff. Food was excellent, although there were a few dishes that I wish were served hotter (some were slightly lukewarm).Overall, an amazing ambience that I would recommend to anyone!

I’m a wine and foody lover. The atmosphere, the food, outstanding service, and wine pairing…. Everything is out of this world! Charming, cosy, they will make you travel and bring you to another dimension.The Matrix 3.0!

What an experience, from start to finish. The service was so warm and hospitable. Our French isn't that good, so they took the time to explain the entire menu in English, which was well appreciated. The food is a work of art. Beautiful presentation and the flavours are exquisite. Thank you for a great evening.

Such exquisite food!! Best dinner we have had so far in our 6 days here in Quebec. Unique dishes were so tasty and the dessert was fantastic!! Service was excellent and it was fun to watch meals being prepared. Highly recommend!

Generally decent food, reasonably priced wine, and average service. We did not receive individual plates and so it was very awkward sharing/eating from common dishes that were placed in the middle of the tabletop. We made reservations many weeks in advance. The front room seating is very uncomfortable, as we were given the central high top facing each other. We ended up smelling very highly of the kitchen cooking scent as the open kitchen is not properly ventilated.The arctic char dish was supposed to come with radish, but was instead covered in cauliflower. Mushrooms under toast dish was sadly underwhelming. We also ate the pasta with strong local cheese, and the (overcooked) beef dish, both of which were average/mediocre.On the positive, my favorite dish was the ham in broth. And it was lovely to receive a complimentary pour of local cider on arrival.We had a much, much better experience the next day at the excellent Faux Bergers!

Scrumptious small plates for sharing, with great attention to detail and the most beautiful local produce from Charlevoix.We absolutely loved the attentive service, the cozy vibes and the music!100% will wait in line to eat here again next time we’re in the area.Ps! Thank you for letting us bring the dog on the terrace! (+ extra points for the heat lamp!)
