No public showing? High adoption fees? For profit organization where the word says it all, organization, like organized crime. Taking advantage of people's emotions for profit. I hate these pounds.

They do such a great job caring for animals. I donate extra pet supplies there. The workers are so pleasant and appreciative. Spoke with a volunteer who walks dogs. Reminds me of all the great people in the world.

The Humane Society here is excellent. They take in animals of every shape, size and color. They check over every animal medically and physically to see which ones need extra care and which ones are allowed in the common room to be put up for adoption. The staff keeps the animals fed well and the dogs get exercised throughout the day. Volunteers also make up people that care as they drop off needed supplies for the animals and some come just to walk the dogs! The Humane Society also works hard to take care of each animal to make sure they get a good forever home for all of them.

How long does your vetting process take for applicants as I've been waiting a considerable amount of time and have not even been contacted about furthering the process or even a simple meet and greet. Can't expect to help these animals find a home when the process" won't allow them to leave. Should have heard something about my application many months ago. Something doesn't seem right at this "Humane society"... These animals deserve proactive management."

We just adopted a pup here and she is amazing. The staff are so wonderful with these animals, making their time out of a true home as good as it can be.
