Aquatics by Lauren Blakemore

I cant suggest Aquatics by Lauren Blakemore more. My autistic 5 year old benefited from lessons with Lauren in a large way!! My son is not the easiest to teach as he can be very rigid. But with Lauren's help and lots of patience we made progress in just 4 lessons!! We even managed to get my son to go under water fully, to touch the bottom of the pool! We are very much looking forward to more lessons with Lauren next summer! My son would not even be close to where he is now without the help of Lauren. She helps build the confidence that you need to be comfortable in water.

Lauren is an amazing teacher! She helps the student wherever they are at, to get better. She taught our 3yo son really good water survival skills and we definitely look forward to work with her again soon.

Lauren was great with our little kids. They loved their week of swimming lessons, we plan to book more with her!

This is our 2nd time having Lauren teach my daughter swim lessons. Like always she is a fantastic instructor! I feel very safe having her teach my daughter in the pool. You won’t regret having Lauren as a swim instructor and learning a lifelong skill!

Lauren was extremely patient with my shy toddler . She gained my daughters trust carefully and made learning fun. She was very flexible with scheduling and even went as far as finding us a new pool to have lessons in when ours got too cold ! Highly recommend!

We had a great experience putting my son in swimming with Lauren Aquatics. Lauren was excellent at keeping the kids engaged and setting clear boundaries and expectations. She was consistent, timely and flexible when needed. I would use Lauren again in the future.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Lauren is. She made our summer hands down. She came and assessed my boys, and then created a detailed and personalized learning plan for each of them. She came prepared each time with her bag of fun! She provided updates at the end of each lesson, her communication was always very thorough. She is very organized and professional. Lauren provided a safe and fun environment for my kids. She was calm, funny, respectful, but also firm when needed and always fair. Not only did my boys learn to swim, they also leaned water safety, and most of all, confidence in themselves as swimmers. I fully plan on having Lauren back next year ❤️ Thank you again Lauren!
