Poor planning on a canada day event. Event details did not include that you had to pre-register. Waited in line for food with my 5 year old for a half hour only to be turned away. Not much Canada spirit here.

This is a smaller community centre but is beautiful inside. Membership, this year, is free. The main hall hosts taikwon-do and karate lessons and has gorgeous hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows on one side overlooking the park, and there is also a meeting room with conference table and chairs where a conversation club is held. They also have a regular board game night. The basement room hosts Seedlings Spanish Preschool. All rooms are available to hire for functions or clubs, I believe. There may be other activities, clubs and events hosted that I'm not aware of. The upstairs rooms are wheelchair accessible with a ramp from the street to the door. I'm unsure if the basement room is wheelchair accessible.There is a community garden outside and an outdoor ice rink, which is popular in winter. A free mobile skatepark was put there temporarily last summer. They organize community clean ups and also offer a soccer program that involves parents/guardians as volunteers to keep the cost down. I like the feel of the space and what is offered there. There is even a little free library outside.I would love to see some programs such as a drop-in playgroup, dance classes for kids, music classes, or more programs for seniors, but they do great work there in a beautiful space!

Even though the facility is small in size, the hall is very clean and well managed. From anniversary celebrations to yoga classes, the hall is well used and loved by the local community. Great work!

Nice, mid-size community center. Large outside deck. Beautiful gardens in the back. Skating rink. Really nice spot.

The community hall has been the home for Calgary Argentine Tango dance and music community for last few years. The hall has been beautifully maintained and the manager Abi has been great to our community. Thank you Abi (TangoCalgary.com)

Celebrated a lovely outdoor wedding under the gazebo then evening festivities indoors. The perfect setting for an intimate wedding. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully redone indoor space, and awesome new outdoor skating rink. The community gardens are fantastic all summer.

Love the manager, Abi, and the space is beautiful. We have chosen this hall for our wedding next summer. With their upcoming renovations to the deck, it will be amazing and even more wheelchair accessible for my dad.
