Being in a car accident at a young age made things difficult i always felt embarrassed having to purchase things not normally needed for my age group but at Superior home health care they made me feel so comfortable and welcome. The staff were amazing with everything. I needed a scooter 2 summers ago last minute for a Canada Day long weekend for the air show and they made it happen..... I high recommend this place and their staff.

I am long over due with this shout out to Superior Home Health Care Barrie. The team headed by John and Suzi went above and beyond to help us at an emotionally charged time with the sale of my late father's customized van. Their knowledge, empathy, contacts, accommodation and willingness to answer our questions no matter how many were so very appreciated. The showroom is a testament to their support of those needing mobility and homecare aids.I can't say enough but here's a heartfelt thank you! I wish I had met them years ago so want all of you to know about them and their fabulous business.John, Suzi and team, Thank You!

My experience with this retailer was terrible. The chair, almost $3,000.00, is totally unacceptable and inadequate. Never again would l purchase anything from this retailer.The owner’s hypocritical and misleading response to my 1 star review is pathetic. The delivered chair is one and one half feet shorter than l require. A cover for the chair was also purchased. When finally l was discharged from the hospital intensive care unit and received the chair a few days later, l sat on the chair once then notified staff of its inadequacy and got phoney excuses. One would think the owner would replace the chair with the proper size but in my situation he demonstrated a callous, uncouth, undiplomatic unwillingness to remedy the situation even refusing to return my phone call seeking a solution. The owner neglects to mention the chair was purchased while l was unconscious, undergoing open heart surgery. My wife and son purchased the chair with my credit card under duress relying on the misleading representations of staff.

Who ever thought buying a lift chair for my father in law would be a great experience!But the Staff at Superior Home Health made it just that!They could have made a quick sale and had us out the door... But instead they encouraged us to try all the options... Took my father n laws measurements, and did not let sell us anything until we had the perfect chair for him.Service was second to none!Will definitely recommend to all family and friends!

Wonderful experience all round. Mike had some innovative ideas and helpful suggestions re our accessible needs. He responded rapidly to any of our inquiries & concerns. Work done by Ian was fabulous, great craftsmanship, ability to adapt to changes as needed, very professional. Our daughter, a Paralympian athlete who has traveled extensively, says it is the best accessible shower she has encountered, and that it meets her needs perfectly. Superior Home Health Care did a fantastic job installing my mum's shower grab bars within 3 days of my phone call to them. Another (very well known national company) quoted 4 to 6 WEEKS, with no guarantee that they would show up with the proper equipment (diamond tip drill bits for tile). The Superior installer was quick, efficient, and tidy. I highly recommend this local company.

I just moved in a new house in the Barrie area and needed a stairlift installed asap for my mother-in-law. I contacted Mike at Superior Home Health Care and he was able to come home the day we took possession. He took measurements and explained what we needed. They had the unit in stock so the appointment for installation was very fast. Steve did an excellent job installing it, left everything perfectly clean as if he was never here, very polite and helpful with the explanations. I definitely recommend Superior Home’s team for every need you might have. I will be going back for sure!

Amazing place with amazing staff and you definitely have a new customer for life!I recently purchased a new car from Honda Midland and had to have hand controls installed. I called Sure Grip (the hand control company) and they instantly directed me to John Tom, the owner of Superior Home Health Care, and I am so happy they did!!!Because I'm new to the area, I initially went thru a different mobility company (which I know from Toronto). It turned out they had absolutely no idea on how to work with the my model of car (even though they said they could when I first called). As a result, I lost almost 2 weeks waiting for an installation that never happened.When Sure-Grip directed me to John, he spent a lot of time going over all the options I had for the hand control system. He also has actual mechanics working on the cars and they are meticulous with their work. Steve and Char were in constant contact with Sure Grip and would send pictures back and forth so that the install was done properly. They installed the controls in such a professional and careful way that the finished product looks like it came straight from the Honda manufacturers. When the installation was over, John took me for a test drive around the parking lot to help me familiarize myself with the new feather-lite system, as my previous controls were manual.I am so grateful and appreciative for all the hard work and effort that John and his team put into getting me behind the wheel again!!!!I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

What a great team of knowledgeable and friendly staff at Superior Home Health Care I recently had hand-controls installed in our SUV. I couldn't be happier with the wonderful service Stephen Richardson did in installing the controls. He wanted to make sure I was 100% happy with how he did the installation and that the controls were placed exactly where I needed them to be.Thank you so much SHHC!!
