We are so thankful to have discovered Hoot reading! Our daughter in grade 2 has been taking one English and one French reading lesson every week for the last 4 months. She started off behind, at an early grade one reading level and has now caught up to the desired grade 2 reading level. Her confidence in reading and in her abilities has grown immensely. Reading is much more fun together now and we no longer struggle to get her to read books with us. The best part is that she loves logging on for her lessons! We love Hoot!! I have recommended it to all my friends with new readers or struggling readers. My son make huge strides in his reading after schools shut down because of Hoot. I started my daughter in JK, she knew some letter sounds and by the end of the year was reading a full grade level above. Her lovely teacher Bridget is so lively and even goes over time to play a little ending game of eye spy.

My daughter is in her 4th round of Hoot Reading, we love everything about this program and hope that our school board continues to offer it next year. She was already a very strong reader for only being in grade 1, but with this program she is currently reading N level books. Her teacher is wonderful and the customer service representatives are so friendly and accommodating, we request to have the same teacher when her lessons have to be rescheduled due to a holiday and they are always willing and able to make that happen. We've requested the same teacher each session as well, as my daughter does better with consistency, and they make it happen every time for us. We love being a part of Hoot Reading and hope that we can continue my daughters reading journey well into the future.

Both of my kids started their journey with Hoot in Grade 1 and have shown great progress in just a couple of months. The 20 min format is an effective way to keep the kids engaged and interested. The teachers are enthusiastic and have been so nice to get to know. My kids have gained a love for reading and is practicing more on their own. We cannot recommend Hoot enough to kids who just need a little help to get them over that hump or to gain more confidence. From our family Thank You Hoot Team!
