Golden Tea Pot - Open by Reservation Only
We just left, and I am absolutely blown away. Linda is wonderful! Very attentive. And made us feel special and gave us her full attention when with us. We did this as a surprise for my mom, she not only loved it but teared up many times throughout. The tea was fantastic and the food was delicious! We have already decided to make this a regular event for us to do together! Highly, highly recommend!

The ambiance is exactly like afternoon teas that I have been to in the UK. Linda is exceptionally kind and puts in the effort to ensure that guests have an enjoyable time. Price was very reasonable and all the food was delicious. The one thing I would love to see in the future is real clotted cream because that stuff with scones is the best! You have the opportunity to walk around the art gallery as well. I will surely be returning!

I can't say enough about our experience, beautiful location and a very nicely ordained room. The staff was so super friendly and sweet she definitely made our visit that much better . Now as far as cost it's not cheap for 4 of us having high tea it cost 178.00 with a tip which was very well earned, I didn't stress about the cost because of the quality of the food and the staff experience but keep it in mind not really a budget choice . Free entrance to see the art gallery was included with the cost I will definitely be back !

It's rare to find a proper tea room in Canada so this place is special for us. The location and the offerings are very much on par to what you'd find in the UK - minus a Victoria Sponge :)Visiting this tea room makes us feel like we're back in a small village tea room in the UK. The service is excellent. The scones and clotted cream are delicious. The tea itself could be improved but we can overlook that because of the fantastic ambiance.

Always delightful to visit Linda’s tea room at The Golden Teapot Tearoom as she’s truly the quintessential tea hostess! You won’t find a more inviting & warm small business owner. This venue is so unique inside an art gallery. We enjoyed the generous spread and sipping tea in the delightful sunroom of the Glenhyrst Gallery. Savories were fresh, sweets were okay, but we enjoyed the two scones most! They were served with jam and a chantilly cream (no clotted cream here). Many tea options to choose from, all loose leaf tea, served in an indvidual tea press. This is a small tea room so certainly book your table ahead and let Linda pamper you during your visit :)

I had my daughter’s bridal shower at The Golden Teapot. I could not have asked for a better experience. Linda was so accommodating and kind with all of the arrangements and the menu. The food was amazing! It was an elegant experience. I could not have been more pleased.

We had a wonderful time today! The host Linda is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever had serve me. She was so incredible sweet and very particular on details. Everything was so nicely done and tasted so good! Definitely will be returning! Also the art gallery and staff were fantastic!! Definitely would recommend!!!!

Lovely experience both times, HOWEVER be awareof the price. When I went in February the cost was $35 or so a person. Booked it again in March for April, the price went up to $45 a person for high tea, plus tax, that's quite a large jump and the food remained the same, no melon this time though. That's quite a substantial jump, and no warning or update given. We quite enjoyed our High Tea, would definitely do it again with family and friends, however would likely do low tea next time

The Golden Teapot is a true treasure trove experience in Brantford. You must try this elevate tea room is so much multi sensory to take in. The tastes exquisite. The sights are warm and welcoming. The sounds are soothing. The touch is piping hot. Tell Linda, Spicy Jan sent you and have an incredible afternoon tea. Cheers xo

Lovely setting to have high tea. Wonderful hostess and very nice selection of high quality teas. Prices are a little high for the type of food served but overall a nice experience.
