I ordered a cheesecake and a coffee, the food was good but when my friend and I was still eating and talking the waitress came to our table and asked do you want a box for your cheesecake?? I find this behaviour very unprofessional, because we weren’t done yet and I was still eating my coffee and cheesecake and then I said no thank you, then she said are you ready for the bill??!!! Like just saying get out of here! I found it very rude! If I want the bill I can ask for it and also the restaurant wasn’t full so I can’t say she just wanted to have a table for other customers! I won’t go there anymore even if the food is good, I expect respect and a good experience!

This is no longer Alexander’s or the local University town pub it used to be. This restaurant has undergone a facelift, new ownership and a completely updated menu. The one thing that remains is the great selection of desserts. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed the calamari, the hippocrates pizza, made it a mushroom chicken (will get again!), and the coconut cheesecake. All worth the slightly higher prices, as we're the cocktails. I would say it's not a place for a large group to catch up as it was loud, they haven't fixed the volume issue that Alexander’s always had. The beta part, however, was Nadine, she was an amazing server and made great recommendations all night.

My sister insisted we go to Filosophi. We went around 2pm on a Saturday, so it was decently packed but still decently quiet. The amount of each serving justifies the price. Food was great; we'll be back to try the others for sure.

We ordered the night burger and the chicken gyro. The other person said it was the best burger they've had in a long time.The gyro was definitely the worst gyro I've ever had, it was a gigantic mess that was impossible to pick up without spilling the chicken everywhere and the flavour profile was just bad. I wanted to trust the menu and didn't ask to substitute the mustard off of it but it was awful. The greek fries upgrade was decent, tho the person that had the burger commented that it looked like there was more seasoning on their plain fries than on the greek ones under the cheese.We ordered a variety of desserts to go that were all fantastic, best desserts we've tried from a restaurant in the city so far.The interior decor was lovely but despite the small seating area the chatter from the other patrons was booming/painfully loud.Would definitely go again but preferably at an off time in hopes it's quieter.

Always a good experience so far. The meals are delicious, service is very good and a nice atmosphere.You cannot miss the calamari. The baklava cheesecake is to die for!We also tried the baked spinach dip and the orecchiette from the pasta menu (yumm!)

Staff was so helpful. The patio is spacious and comfortable. I loved the calamari - great texture, lots of tzatziki, and the right amount of peppers and lemon.And of course we had the baklava cheesecake. So unusual and also so good.

Great meal and nice restaurant. I had the Steelhead Cakes and Shrimp Saganaki-2 appetizers instead of a meal. Very good! Had the Raspberry Vanilla Sour to drink on recommendation from our server, refreshing and delicious. And for dessert the phyllo cheesecake was amazing! Dessert selection was beautiful. Service was a little slow to start then excellent, she must’ve been busy at first. Hunter was friendly, patient and informative when answering all our questions and her recommendations when requested were perfect. Thank you for the great ladies evening out!

The best restaurant ever! Ordered cheesecakes for birthday several times already and they are always the freshest and the most delicious ones!!! I swear the best cheesecakes in Saskatoon, especially Tiramisu, Blueberry and Coconut. And of course classic New York!
