Eh! Maids House Cleaning Services Barrie

Barrie Modern Cleaners went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations! I've never seen my baseboards so clean! I will be booking again for sure, and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a professional cleaning service in the Barrie area.

Right before Christmas I hired eh maids to do a deep clean on my small townhouse. First glance it was clean, but upon further inspection there were things not completed. My shelves and pictures were not dusted as I was promised, the garbages were not changed, there was still clutter, they left dirty rags hanging in two of my bathrooms which were not mine, they used very strong smelling chemicals that left the home smelling like bleach unfortunately and took pictures of under my couch without consent and called me during the cleaning to complain that they had to clean under the couch. I have three kids one with special needs and I was prayed on when I was vulnerable. The clean cost me over $500, and we had to leave for nearly 8 hours. I'm still confused how it took that long when a lot of stuff wasn't complete and I'm really saddened that I was well over charged and pressured to tip. I was also told the maid would do a walk through after. She did not. She stayed outside in her car and actually left before I completed the walk through which is not okay because I needed her to come back and finish. They also took the $500 from my account two days before the clean and I'm now learning with other companies that they do NOT ask for account details or take money ahead of the job. I'm also learning that $500 is WAY too much for one cleaner to clean my little townhouse.. i feel deeply taken advantage of as they refuse any sort of refund. They say if the job is not done that they will fix anything you need during the walk through at the end but Like I said before they left while I was looking. Please be careful when hiring a maid service and remember to not allow pictures of your precious home to be taken without your consent. I've found a really lovely company now that would never ever do this to me. Really Un happy..

Booked for 10am, email said to expect them between 10am and 11am. 10:44 received a text that they were almost there. 11:30 I started calling, emailing, texting to ask them to just cancel the booking since they weren't coming. Received a form email that my booking was cancelled at 11:51, but never got a response to any of my messages. Waste of my time since I cleared my schedule between 10 and 11 to let them in and then had to followup after the fact, and very unprofessional that they didn't bother returning my messages.

Having just had my first child, keeping up with the household chores has been... near impossible. Having Barrie Modern Cleaners out to help me out was great! Natalie did a good job, and I was surprised that she did my baseboards! I would recommend you give them a shot.

I was very impressed by the service I received from Barrie Modern Cleaners. The company was able to accommodate me at short notice. Super responsive, professional, and excellent work. Cleaners arrived on time and brought their own cleaning supplies. I liked that they had a system down and worked efficiently to get the whole house clean.I would use this company and will be recommending this service to family and friends.

Needed a last a last minute cleaning of a rental property before new tenants arrived. While away on a job site I was able to get Barrie Modern Cleaners to the rental property with little notice. The cleaners notified me of their arrival and completion of the job and the positive comments from the new tenants was proof enough. Couldn't be happier with my first experience hiring a cleaning company and I didn't even have to be around. They'll be the first to call if I have another situation like this.

Not very happy with this service. They were booked on a Monday for 10 am. Didnt show up or call. When we called them they rescheduled for the next day. Paid for a deep clean. The cleaner had nothing but negative things to say about the company. Offered her own cleaning services on the side. When we returned, items we had wanted done were not clean. The house was clean. Just not everything we had asked. 400 for a deep clean and not all is completed. Pretty frustrating. Also charged our card, when your not supposed to be charged until.after the service. Would not recommend to someone else. Very disappointing considering alot of the reviews here seem to be positive.

After doing some renovating in my house i was not looking forward to spending hours trying to get everything cleaned. I found barrie modern cleaners online and the website gave me an instant price, and the ability to book online. I received a few other quotes from other cleaning companies, some which took days to do and having to wait around for an estimator to do a walkthrough. I returned to the barrie modern cleaners website and booked my service and added some extras. The cleaning ladies showed up at the time i requested and were very nice. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but the time it saved me was the best part, i would have not been able to do as good of a job as them in the time they did it, they are true professionals. Since then i have used them for carpet cleaning which was also great and i plan to use their house cleaning service regularly. Very highly recommended.
