I had the opportunity to work for SEEDA as an intern for a very short period of time. Working for SEEDA has been very educational and I really loved their working environment as well as their work ethic. They are highly professional with their approach to any problem. I did manage to learn so much from the team, specially from Mr. Max Chernetsov, P.Eng, PMP and Mr. Dioni Cardona, P.Eng. I am highly indebted to both of them for the exceptional experience I had at SEEDA. I will always be grateful to SEEDA for the great opportunity and their belief in me.

I worked with SEEDA Inc. on my Capstone project in the Master of Sustainable Energy Development program for 8 months as an internship student. The CEO of SEEDA Inc. was my industry project supervisor for the project. I collaborated with SEEDA Inc.’s Research and Development team to conduct a research study to determine the feasibility of using solar photovoltaic (PV)-geomembrane technology to mitigate tailings contamination and generate clean renewable energy at an abandoned mine tailings site in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I enjoyed working with SEEDA Inc.’s team who have a wealth of knowledge in solar PV technology and are very well-versed in the construction methods of water resources infrastructures for site remediation. I strongly support and believe in SEEDA Inc.’s vision to convert global contaminated coal mine and oil sands tailings sites to useable lands for solar PV and wind farm installations to generate clean renewable energy and mitigate environmental risks. It is our strong working relationship and team collaboration efforts that contributed to the successful completion of the Capstone project in 2021 that earned the approval from the University of Calgary and outstanding recognition from the industry. I highly recommend SEEDA Inc. to any company who requires expert consulting services in renewable energy and environmental engineering.
