Peterborough Walk-in Clinic

Worst ever! My son went & saw a doctor, who said he needs surgery! The doctor gave us the referral instead of faxing it to a surgeon who would book an appointment. I called and they kept lying to me saying someone would call, which is untrue!!! I am calling everywhere trying to book surgery for my son!!! If something happens to him they are completely responsible! Worst place I have ever been too!!!!

Arrived at the clinic at 9:15am for a 10am opening. I was third in line. At 9:55am, a person inside the clinic gracefully like a weasel taped a printed piece of paper on the inside of the door saying the clinic was closed today. The line up now was about 20 people, with small children, elderly people, and obvious under the weather people.Where's the accountability here? Clinics such as this one, and the people who run it, obviously have zero respect for peoples time. I don't live in town, and I certainly didn't have to go in town today other than to attend the clinic. I'm sure there is also other people who may have travelled even further for the clinic, or booked time off work, or had to schedule their day around a consult.Absolutely unacceptable, and disgraceful. I certainly won't waste my time with this clinic again, nor will I recommend. If this is what public healthcare continues to look like, I'm getting more cozy with the idea of privatization.

Everybody is friendly - however I arrived 1 minute after open time listed online (10am) to get in early, and was told a 3 hour wait. HOW could that possibly be? Well turns out the door was let open a half an hour early before listed open time. It was unfortunate, as I totally could have came half an hour earlier if I thought I wouldn’t be stuck outside waiting. Ended up waiting 4+ hours when I honestly could have probably gotten faster and more thorough service at the hospital emergency room for my symptoms, which I would usually consider the long way around.

Severe cold while on vacation at a rental cottage near Lakefield. Bedridden for 8 straight days (not my normal). Fever and chills, night sweats, the entire time, completely lost sense of taste and smell which was a first in my 62 years. Eye infection to boot. New flu like symptoms started Day 8 and decided to get antibiotics since not getting better or morphing into some other illness. Severed headaches and nausea. Both walk in clinics turned me away. Even though I arrived 6 hours before closing. Told me to go to ER or telegealth. Gotta love our healthcare. What a bloody joke.

It was a great experience. They’re actually helping through a life crisis right now and I am so excited for a future with the closet clinic. Nurse Lynn was so friendly to me and super understanding and I found doctor Comfort Alara is the only female t I’ve met who wasn’t judgemental towards me and my situation. So grateful I went to this clinic near me despite the few bad reviews a few people left who could’ve had much different experiences but speaking for myself it was great.

Great little walk-in. Before seeing a doctor you first meet with Lynn who is amazing and makes the visit feel personalized. After checking vitals and going over your reason for being there with Lynnn, you get a quick impersonal online visit with the Dr. on the computer. Connecting to a Dr via the computer seems to be a long process as there are so many of them and you have to wait for one of them to accept your case. Again, Lynn made it bearable and provided all the support I would expect from a long time family doctor despite it being a walk in. Wonderful.

Amazingly friendly staff and extremely comfortable, clean setting. The doctors are knowledgeable and take the time to listen to all of your concerns and work through a plan to figure out what will work best for you. The pharmacy being right there with them is super convenient as well. It is definitely worth any wait there may be, and I will DEFINITELY be back the next time I need help.

Words cannot describe how amazing Lynne is at this clinic. She truly cares about her patients. Yes, the wait may be long but that is the price you pay for the high quality of care she provides!

Really had a great experience here. Great spatious waiting area. A lot of medicine on display & spaced out so you can pick comfortably. Friendly assistant to speak with inside the room. Very diligent & attentive pharmacist. Would recommend. Simple and comfortable. Got my right medicine to cure my problem. That's what I appreciate. Loved it here. They now charge you for a visit. It's a video call with a doctor. Not even a nurse doing the intake. Be prepared to wait 2 hours at least. No matter how early you get there. Horrible experience.
