My wife and I came here on our day date Friday May 26, 2023 and it was simply an incredible experience. Faith our server was fantastic! The dessert took a little longer than anticipated, it was worth the wait. Great locally made beers. We loved the interior design and the food was outstanding. Come early as this place fills up fast! We will be back for sure!

So happy we made a stop here in Niagara! The atmosphere and decor is lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was so delicious and we will have to come back to try out more beer! Looks like a great spot in the warmer weather too when the patio area is open.

I’ve always thought the restaurant scene in Niagara and area was good, but not great. After a visit to the Grist on June 17th, the restaurant scene IS TURNING GREAT!Such an amazing experience from the beautiful exterior, interior, opening garage doors, delicious, beautifully prepared food, and incredible, attentive staff. And that’s not even mentioning the fabulous craft beer and local wine selection(s).We opted for the Grist’s most famous dishes….that would be burgers and pizza. Talk about elevating brew pub food and bites to another level. Both were outstanding. The New Yorker Pizza is about as classic as it gets and this one is as good as any we’ve ever had. If you’ve ever had Grimaldi’s in New York or Las Vegas….this is similar, with a better crust and upgraded selection of pepperoni. My gosh it was good. For the burger we had the Mac Smash, kind of an elevated take on a very famous burger with part of the same name. A mix of beef, this burger is great.Truth be told, walking by other dishes on our way out had me already thinking…When do I get to come back? lol.A special place. Really special.If you are in the Niagara region, I cannot recommend this experience and restaurant enough, it has been one of the best experiences we’ve have had in a long time. 10/10

Amazing food, amazing service. Every time the server came out our mouths dropped open because the food was HUGE and looked amazing. We ended up taking so much food home so the prices are super reasonable though they may seem expensive at first.

Great restaurant! Visited in the fall with family and had some beer with a big pizza that was shared. The food is fresh and well done. The beer is all made on site which is super cool. I had a seasonal beer with the pizza and the beverage complemented the meal well. Nice ambience inside, laid back and fun. Super cool lights and decor too! One of my favorite restaurants in the Niagara Region. Definitely will return!

We stopped into The Grist after visiting a winery and were not disappointed. Our server, Emily (hope I got that right!) was very friendly and personable. The decor is fun and eclectic, it is easy to see that lots of care has gone into this establishment.I had a beer flight which was a nice way to sample different beers on the menu. The rice beer currently in rotation was phenomenal and a favourite, enough that we bought some to take home. My husband loved the feature smashburger. Not sure what they do to their French fries but oh mannnnnn were they ever tasty.We arrived just prior to the dinner rush, it was busy but not so much that we had to wait for a table. Our food arrived in a timely manner, despite the amount of patrons dining at the same time.

Friday night dinner, but managed to get a table for two immediately.Honey it’s hot pizza it’s just that. Savoury and spicy. Very good pizza. Ours, and the tackles Next to Our looked great too…Owner even popped over to say hello.We recommend!

Amazing atmosphere and food! Great casual setting overlooking trees and felt like we were sitting outside with all of the garage doors/windows open. The service was good and we enjoyed the live music. We tried the Mother Theresa Pizza, Crispy Chicken Parm Pesto Sammy and fries, Honey Sriracha Wings and Big A** Pretzel with house made beer cheese sauce. The pizza was just okay but the other food more than made up for it and was incredible. The pretzel blows away anything you will find at any stadium. Wings were top notch and the Chicken Parm Sammy was perfection. Tried a flight of beer and their red cream ale was the winner.

Another pet friendly place. We loved it. Came here for our 1st time and not disappointed. Food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. A place you can come to and safely say you get what you pay for and value for your money. We can't wait to go back for other items on the menu.

Great food. Great service and a huge selection of beers. Had the bocce roll which was heavily stuffed with fresh ingredients ( order to share!) Then the caprese on fire sangwich with a house salad on the side. Everything tasted great and service at the bar was awesome! Noticed a lot of folks were ordering pizza and wings...next time!
