WarningI’ve been going to this place for years.Today was my last day.As I ate the chicken souvlaki dinner, I noticed pieces of plastic in my salad. I’m so thankful I had the sense to know while chewing something was up!Don’t eat from here. I’m scared I ingested the pieces.Quality of this place has gone down big time. I realized that today - it took me a while. :(

I used to recommend this place, but these days idk ....Even my friends agree that the quality is lacking these days. Ordered a dinner for take out, just looked sorry. Markham station at 3am was better.The price is one thing but fact they still only take cash is annoying. Greek Stop and Kathy's Grill are great alternatives. Better consistent quality, cheaper, and take card.

I am huge fan of chicken/falafel platters. So I came to this place to try their Falafel platter and fell in love with it. I was surprised with the portion size. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Will definitely visit here again.

Esquire is a great place to grab a souvlaki meal!Fresh salad ingredients, good dressing flavour.I prefer the fries with my meal since the recipe for the rice and potatoes has changed in recent times.Souvlaki is on point and served with a few slices of fresh garlic bread.Other good options on the menu other than souvlaki.This has been a neighbourhood staple for decades.If you’re planning on eating here, know that it’s CASH ONLY.

I'm a long time customer, been going for over 20 years. Recently went for a banquet burger. Was telling them what toppings to put on my burger.When I told them I want lettuce on my burger, as I have been getting lettuce every time I go there, was told I couldn't have lettuce. There was a tub of lettuce right there, next to the tomatoes.Guy told me manager won't let us put lettuce on burgers cause it costs too much. Their lettuce is chopped up, they don't put a whole leaf of lettuce, just a few chopped pieces.There was no sign posted, that they will no longer serve lettuce on burgers. Had I known this before I ordered, I would have ordered something else.Heck I would have even paid 50 cents extra to get lettuce.Everything is getting expensive, if that is your excuse, raise the prices of your burgers, to make up for the extra price of lettuce.At least post a sign that you will no longer serve lettuce on your items.This is not an establishment I want to do business with anymore.

This place is WAY overpriced for what you get and the food is average at best. The Gyro slices are a complete Rip Off so stay away and the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner for over $20 is not much of a good deal either as the salad is average, the chicken was dry, potatoes were very boring and the rice was ok. The Tzatziki wasn’t very authentic either so for the price you’re paying here you’ll be better off trying to find real Greek Food elsewhere. The food was edible don’t get me wrong but for the prices they are charging it makes absolutely no sense. May 2022 Update goes up 1 star to 3 as I tried them again and the food was ok but still a tad expensive. Chicken Souvlaki on a Bun was very dry but the Greek Fries and Gyro Dinner were good.

Went to Esquire yesterday for lunch after some recommendations from co workers and friends. Service was friendly and the location was well kept and clean.Ordered a homeburger and onion rings. Onion rings a bit soggy, due to the take out container.Homeburger was ok, nothing too special. Not sure this restaurant would be on the top of my list of go tos, with Johnnys Hamburger and others around the neighbourhood.

It is not a great place for dine in but as a person who eats out a lot, they have one of the beat gyros ever. Just try it! Fair price, big portions, delicious food
