I am having a a great experience working with Yavar Hameed and Nicholas Pope of Hameed Law. When I first contacted the firm, Yavar Hameed was kind and informative. Yavar Hameed is a Lawyer of the highest caliber. I have seen him as an instructor at Carleton University, I have witnessed him in court, he has represented me in two Civil cases, and he assisted me in an OIPRD complaint against Ottawa Police. Yavar Hameed was outstanding in every situation. In addition to having an incredibly astute legal mind, Yavar Hameed is also a person of excellent character. A five star rating is not enough.

I have worked with Yavar Hameed on my case against the University of Ottawa. Yavar attentiveness, knowledge and depth of the law is impressive. The materials he prepared was stellar and his cost are very fair. I would not have succeed had it not been for the guidance and work of Hameed and his team. He attended to argue my case but his written pleadings were so strong, a decision was rendered before he could utter a word. He is among a few upright lawyers in Ottawa who cares and will help.
