Carly was my server. She was great! Very helpful, and kind. Went out of her way to answer questions about a menu item. The food was 10/10. I got the burger, which was juicy, and full of flavor every bite. When I come back, I will be ordering that again. I did not order a dessert, regretfully. I will next time, when I come back. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Great ambiance! Fish tacos were really tasty. The batter was so light. Fish was not greasy at all. They also have TV’s to watch sports.Service was impressive. Staff are very tentative and friendly.Highly recommended.

Nice decor and atmosphere, our server was attentive and friendly, and the prices quite reasonable for Waterton standards. We had the burger and fish & chips and both meals were delicious.

Got the fish tacos, bison fajitas and smash burger, all of it was delicious with good portion sizes. If the owner sees this, shout out to Carly our waitress who was attentive, smart, and efficient. Above and beyond, nothing but kudos to this place. Would recommend and 100% would come again.

Stopped in at the Thirsty Bear while visiting in Waterton. We had such a great and pleasant experience. The food was incredible, they served us the best fried pickles iv ever had. Our burgers also exceeded our expectations. Our server i think her name was Amber made these wonderful recommendations to us and she was extremely pleasant to engage with and the service she gave was 11/10. Definitely will be returning on my next Waterton trip !

Nestled amidst the majestic mountains of Waterton, Alberta, Thirsty Bear is charming restaurant with impeccable service. The rustic decor perfectly complemented the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounded us. However, it was Carly, our server, who truly stole the show. Her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her craft were evident from the very beginning. Her commitment to ensuring our satisfaction was exemplary. Recommendations were spot-on. She’s pretty too! Overall 5 stars!

First time visitors of Waterton. Ate here thinking it would be basic bar food. Food was definitely a pleasant surprise. Absolutely delicious. Shoutout to our waitress Amber for taking such great care of us. Bar has a gorgeous aesthetic too. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Amazing service by Carly! Super flavorful food! Delicious and fresh. Decent price point.I WAS NOT expecting the fish tacos to be this big! Yum.One of the best fajitas I've had! Nicely seared and NOT salty. Super soft n fresh tortillas.

Stopped in at the Thirsty Bear over the weekend and had a great experience. Our server Amber was personable and super friendly. The food was delicious, it may seem expensive but its definitely worth the quality and portion size given. The bar itself has a great ambiance and beautiful wooden tables.
