Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Very surprised to read all the negative reviews. I have been going to hand and stone for close to 3 years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. The front desk staff is friendly, welcoming and able to answer any questions. I've also noticed that they are quick to remember small details about clients, which helps build positive welcoming relationships in the spa. I canceled my membership at the beginning of COVID, and the front desk staff was helpful and explained everything clearly to me, letting me know I can still use any unused credits at any time and restart my membership when comfortable to return to the spa (which is exactly what I did). They are awesome so I am very confused with all the negative reviews about them!Crystal is an amazing RMT! She always goes over concerns prior to the app and continually checks in through the massage to make sure you are comfortable and the pressure is ok. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and just generally great at what she does. I have no doubt that all the RMTs at H&S are awesome, but I would highly, highly recommend Crystal!

Hand and Stone Barrie North always provides exceptional service. The facility is welcoming and comfortable and the RMT I see can be described as a magician. I always come out of there feeling amazing and rejuvenated.

Got a last min appointment today with Anna (online booking)! Was fabulous! My neck and back are already feeling better. Clean and comfortable setting. Will go back for sure.

My wife was looking to book a massage online yesterday and she saw one for 2:30 for June ninth. So she called in and spoke to one of the receptionist and asked if she can book the one for 2:30 and the receptionist said yes I can book you in for that time. My wife goes there today and they tell her she is not in the system, the receptionist who spoke to her was there and wouldn’t even look at her. When one of the other employee asked her college, she said that when she went to book her it was already grey but my wife didn’t even get a call back and instead wasted her time to drive there to find out her “confirmed booking” wasn’t done properly.

Ladies at the front desk were great. Woman who did my waxing was SO rude and clearly lacked experience. Worst waxing I've ever had she left so much hair behind.

My experience at Barrie North was nothing short of a team of professionalism from start to finish. The arrival welcome right through to my treatment was smooth. The registered massage therapist who took care of me was very knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish, My health concerns were answered and addressed with a recommendation plan moving forward. If you are considering a spa visit in this area you will find the staff very capable, friendly, professional and ready to serve. Give them a call and experience this for yourselves. I will certainly be back.

Amazing massage my back feels so relaxed coming out of there. We all need to treat ourselves.The facial I received was absolutely amazing! My skin looks and feels 10 years younger. Her touch and service was impeccable.

I enjoyed my massage. I really appreciate what great knowledgeable service I received. My mom also works there and she is an amazing RMT, at Barrie Hand and Stone. She is honest and kind.
