Super 8 by Wyndham Caraquet

The only hotel in Caraquet. On the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, the view is stunning. Staff are friendly. The rooms are good. Free breakfast. If you are visting Caraquet, a good and only place to stay (other than Airbnbs).

Beautiful location for a terrible hotel. For $500 for two nights, hold your expectations LOW. From a recent stay:Checking-in seemed to be a general inconvenience to the clerk on duty. You are then treated to a musty/stale odor in the hall walking to your suite. The room itself smelled musty and as if it had been smoked in. The bed linens all smelled musty. The bed was mediocre in comfort and the pillows were lifeless and uncomfortable.The ground floor units have no privacy sheers for the windows. So, you are either stuck in a dark dungeon if you want any privacy, or have the entire parking lot looking into your room with ease. Asked to be moved to a different room, told That is impossible" by the indifferent desk clerk.The bathroom/water closet has barely enough room to move around in/get back out if you had the door closed. Due to how the door opens into the small area where you would normally be standing

We stayed here two nights for a business conference on a Thursday and Friday night. .The GOOD:1-Great location and gorgeous view of the water2-Good service when needing help with one issue.3-Clean room; comfortable bedThe BAD:1-Internet spotty, would connect and then disconnect.2-Some power outlets in wall didn't work. Example: near table in room, the top plug worked, the bottom one did not. The plug behind the bed didn't work well either, as the plug kept falling out, so alarm clock power would go off and and the night table lamp.3-They had an issue with hot water - One night the shower hot water was lukewarm.4-Some people were waiting to check in but there was no one at desk; apparently she was off on her cigarette break, was gone for 15 mins.5- Breakfast was pitifully small.6-Toasters didn't work well.Had to toast bread 3x before it got barely toasted - and that was on the highest setting.7- They spray some perfumed stuff in the room and lobby that is very strong and irritating if you have allergies.8- They made a big error with our bill, and didn't know how to fix it. Was told Manager was only back on Monday so we had to leave without it being adjusted. Was told we have to call on Monday.The place is WAY overpriced for what you get. Won't go back.

We book 2 months in advance for 2 room with 2 double bed and a pull out couch… when we got there for our stay there was only one double bed and one pull out couch how are u suppose to sleep 3 adult and 2 kids in there… when we went and check with front desk they told us that room did not exists… and the hotel was fully booked they offer us a fold up cot… they promess us that the next day we would have a room with 2 double bed and a fold up cot.. when we went in that room the next day and I explore the room one of the double bed had a big faded blood stain on my sheet.. went to the front desk and all she did for us was giving us new sheet to do so the bed ourselves… what a poor service… other people from our group did not get the room they were suppose too either… if u can’t handle booking in a hockey team then don’t offer to do it… will never go back.

Amazing view as it is directly on the ocean. Very clean and modern. I will stay here again

Had a great stay here while on a conference. I was very happy to see a waterslide which helped me relax after a day of activities! Location cannot be beat really

Great place, friendly staff, bilingual staff (yes both French & English service!!!) clean rooms, spacious and comfy, the pool with the big slide is amazing for the kids and the hot tub awesome while watching them play! Totally recommend this place for anybody visiting Caraquet! Affordable too!!!

Really nice room. The breakfast was good but I could have used a protein option. Pool was fun and the hot tub is a nice feature. Staff was pleasant and friendly. They spoke both English and French with us. Very clean and their green policy is nice.

Date of stay - October 2021 (1 night)The hotel - Clean and comfortable. Great location. Close to the water, sights and walking trail.The room - Good size, very clean, great view from the balcony.Parking - lots of parking.Dog friendly - lots of grass and areas to walk. Well lit when out at night. (**may not be dog friendly any more, but was when we were there in October).

Great place with a great view. Came with my family of 5 in total, service is great everyone is very kind. The view is great. We got top floor so the balcony view was astonishing since we were across from the water. Definitely would come again and would recommend that you choose to come here if you want a nice place to stay for vacation or anything else. 5/5 stars!
