The Watch Lab Chester was excellent! Special thanks to David for making my dads Christmas by fixing his favourite watch, despite asking for difficult watch parts. Thanks so much again!

I was quoted over £70 for replacement of a TAG Heuer battery, with reseal and pressure testing. The store told me that they were the only place in Chester that could offer this, as a same day service. I checked with Time Piece in the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, who were much more polite and helpful. Time Piece offered me exactly the same service, for £39.99 and completed the work within an hour. I do not appreciate being lied to, by The Watch Lab store in Chester and will make sure that others know to steer well clear.

*Save your money..*Brought in a watch that needed a new battery and the screen put straight after another shop admitted they were out of their depth with it and quit without charging me.Picked up the watch, new battery and pressure tested (apparently) but screen still wonky but they wouldn't re open the watch to fiddle with the screen just in case.Took the watch around the corner at time piece watch repairs who also noticed the buttons weren't put in properly.thankfully, they're only charging me half the price the watch lab are to fix the problem.Was going to bring my Tag to get serviced there, glad I tried them out with something simple first..

Went to get a battery replaced, bloke tells me the mechanism is broken and will cost me 70 quid to fix. Walked out and went to Timpsons instead who just replaced the battery for a fraction of the price!

Excellent service today at Watchlab Chester. The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful and she not only replaced my watch battery and added the spare link to the metal strap but also kindly set the time and date and all this was done without appointment and in a very speedy fashion. Highly recommended.

Absolutely first class service, especially from Lorna, at the Chester Branch of WatchLab. My father's Tag Heuer, purchased in Dubai a few years ago, required a new strap and also a full service and all this was carried out at the manufacturers, with the watch being returned to the Chester shop literally as good as new! It took a while, quite understandably, but we were kept up to speed with the progress of the repairs and advised promptly by telephone when the watch was available to collect.All our family always take our watches to this branch, whether it be for a simple battery and reseal (which they do on site in next to no time, by the way) or something more major and I can heartily recommend these guys for all your time-keeping needs!

My wife took her watch believing it needed a new battery and returned a hour later to find that it didn't need one due to the winder being out which stopped the watch.Kev never charged her and was very efficient and gave a friendly service

I always use the Watch Lab for battery replacement or cleaning. Always a cheerful positive response, very knowledgable. They take exceptional care of expensive watches and will tell if and when it needs to go to a main dealer. I visited today needing help with a stubborn strap replacement and they did it in 15 minutes free of charge.
