I never get help when I'm in this store. I have a hard time looking back and forth for what I need. When I get help they just say where to find it, never walk and show me. Don't really find anyone very friendly.

Your staff really need to cheer up. Grumpy faces, not very helpful at all. I tried to ask for help twice, they were too busy. I’m not sure tho, both times they looked quite free. Maybe tell your customers “sure, just give me a moment”“ok, let me finish what I’m doing”“Let me call another staff member”…one of the other 3 staff to assist me with questions?I must say, the prices are great, too bad the staff aren’t.

While Clore Beauty Supply has a good range of items fairly & competitively priced, their return/exchange policy can certainly improve. I purchased sheers only to find out they could barely cut (blades were dull). I took them back looking to exchange them for something sharper (within two days from the original purchase date). The cashier made a recommendation to me (which cost more than my original purchase) & I was willing to pay more if the sheers she recommended did the job. Well, upon taking me back to the counter, she then asked her colleague, presumably her superior (an Asian lady) for approval to do the exchange. She outright refused because the package had been opened. Yes, the package had been opened, but it could've been easily re-sealed or better yet tossed since once again, they didn't cut & could be considered defective. Despite willing to pay more for an exchange, I was denied--'nice' customer service. I'll definitely think twice before making another purchase here & that's IF I ever consider shopping here again.

I love Cloré. I tend to buy alot of feed-in hair for myself, as well as makeup. I am fair with blonde hair and they always have diverse color options for both hair and makeup. They also have great skin care products. I've always found all the staff to be polite and professional as well.

Always has a huge selection & great prices! I always find everything I need & more when I shop there!

It's a Curly Girl MECCA! TONS of natural haircare products! They have a massive selection of Shae moisture, Curls (Blueberry Bliss!), As I Am (coconut co-wash!) and some that I hadn't even heard of! Curly Girls, you have to go! Prices are great! Drove from Burlington and will be back! Service was great too! They checked the back for me for something that wasn't on the shelf and they had it. I was so impressed! Loved the fun atmosphere of the store too! Definitely a 5 star experience!Jan 30/23update-Another great experience today! I've been growing out my Grey's, my hair is acting differently. I asked questions and feel like product recommends we're on point again. Thanks so much for your help today.

Selection of products is great compared to other stores in Hamilton. The staff are friendly and helpful. The owner’s actions however are what brings the experience down.Today, I came in the store to purchase 4 items and was only in the store for about 2 mins before checking out (the owner saw me come in and leave). After paying as I went to leave, the security sensors went off. The owner, took the items I purchased out of my hands and then checked my receipt. After checking my receipt, they would not hand me my purchased items back until I went through the sensor again. Keeping in mind, I wasn’t wearing a jacket, carrying a larger purse, etc that I could even hide things in. Regardless, at that point she knew those items were purchased and belonged to me so there’s no reason to be withholding my belongings.When a similar situation occurs, stores that act with respect would politely check the receipt of the customer and put the items through the security sensors again to see if they were deactivated. Instead of ruling out that the products could have put off the sensor first, the owner immediately went to assuming I stole. Finally, after all of this there was no apology.This isn’t the first time I have felt as though I have to prove my innocence with the owner or that I should be treated respectfully.I quite honestly would not come to this store if it wasn’t the only choice. It’s not okay to treat customers like they are liars and criminals. Black people and other racialized people are discriminated against enough as is, we should be able to exit a beauty supply store (where we represent majority of the customers btw) in peace.I hope this review results in some reflection. Again the fact that this is store is one of the only options in Hamilton means there’s a lot of control in this owner’s hands. While they could likely get away with continuing to treat people disrespectfully, hopefully they choose to do some reflection and change their approach.

I never noticed this place before. It’s chalk full of Beauty supplies but they seem to specialize in hair extensions. There was a good selection of nail products but not too many powder nail choices. There was costume jewelry there as well. They had a security guard at the door. I’m not sure why. She was friendly and gave hand sanitizer pumps.

I visited this location recently I went in to purchase hair I wasn’t unable to find it myself so I decided to ask for help from an associate. The associate was new so they didn’t know what the product was. Having my hair dresser on the phone with me they were also attempting to speak with the associate in the store to help them find the product I was looking for. The associate couldn’t find it so I decided to continue looking for it myself. I found another person to get help as this was getting closer to closing hours. The manager wouldn’t allow the associate to help me and stated that I was a security risk in the store without explanation. I asked how I was a risk as I was a customer who has been in this location several times before. She didn’t explain how I was a risk which I found to be offensive. I couldn’t understand the hostile behavior from the owner/manager. Based on this I will not return again they need to learn how to deal fairly and respectfully with a diverse population. Highly NOT recommend this place if I could give them zero stars I would.
