I’m not a huge fan of rice noodle rolls but this one impressed me so well! Two days in a roll I ordered 4 times just because it’s so delicious.

Seriously some of the best rice rolls in the city. Their other offerings are also stellar. The beef brisket and the black sesame dessert was among the best I’ve ever had.Portions are solid and price is decent too! Service is fast and the food is served piping hot. Perfect for a cold day or when you’re feeling under the weather. I come back almost once a month.

Our favourite chang fen stop! Family friendly.Service (Family Friendly): During our latest dine in experience, the staff asked if we needed a highchair for my daughter which was very attentive and considerate. We were brought tea and told to order from their qr code on the table. The ordering process was relatively simple, but you will need data on your phone as there is no wifi. As my daughter is still young (3yo), we tend to avoid eating at small restaurants during peak meal times (lunch and dinner rush) as she can eat pretty slow, so that usually means the staff are on break. Even so, the service we received was still surprisingly fast!Food: We've tried a variety of dishes, and ate in and bought for takeout. Very fresh, everything comes out piping hot. Our favourite is the dough stick rice noodle roll. The doughstick is crispy and light, not heavy and dense like many other places. The rice noodle are smooth and silky soft, evident of their years of practice to perfect it. The congee are flavourful and have the perfect consistency, not too thick and not too watery. They also have a selection of dim sum which was also pretty good.

Every time we go to Scarborough for work on a bi-weekly basis, we go here to have our dinner. Food tastes excellent, and the price is right compared to nearby places. The beef on my noodle was soft and tender, perfect! They have variety of congee to choose from, match it with the doughnuts. Portion serving’s good, we actually shared it - the best part is, when you dine in, they provided paper bowl so you can share the meal without even asking for it. The staff were very friendly, I cannot say more with regards to that. Definitely recommending this place for everyone to try out, especially that nowadays, prices of food are all high.

Some serious cheung fun. Very good and reminds my mom of her childhood stalls in Hk. The beef brisket noodles were on point, tender and flavorful. The noodles were the typical snappiness that you would be looking for. The congee, however, is not the right sampan congee. Otherwise, great prices for what you get. A very good go to place to try.

One of my favorite spots in Markham. The food is so simple yet so delicious, I can eat this everyday! These authentic dishes are freshly made and the congee is served boiling hot. The chinese donuts are to die for!! The beverages are good but nothing special. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Markham.

Got takeout and it was pretty good! 10% cash discount which is nice, also they were super fast with my order.The steamed rice rolls were smooth and delicious, and had lots of fillings! Highly recommend!

Simple and meets expectations! I usually get the beef & chive rice roll, and this time we also tried the deep fried steam bun with condensed milk and this was PERFECT. Crispy but soft, not too sweet and just the right flavour. Definitely recommend this. Get the iced milk tea too! A super casual and low priced meal.

We came at 10pm because they close late at 1am. Server was nice and the congee was hot enough but too watery for me. There’s some weird black stuff like burnt in the congee. Rice rolls are not very smooth, and overloaded with peanut and hoisin sauce, without any soy sauce. Staff seemed to be indifferent that we and another table of customers were eating, and they kept mopping the floor with bleach!

Yin Ji Chang Fen
The rice noodle roll and dough stick never disappoint. I had a few times before and they were always delicious. This time we tried the beef brisket noodles and to our surprise, it’s one of the best we ever tasted. The soup that came along the noodles added a whole new level to the taste. For sure we will come back for more. Highly recommended.
