This theater is comfortable, and ultimately and enjoyable experience. However, there is only one screen and the movies shown tend to be aimed at an older demographic. You will not find the newest action movie here, but you might find an animation or drama that interests you. Look at the schedule ahead of time so you can plan your visit.

Bring cash! Everything about this place is perfect. It’s tiny, the walls are flagstone, the seats are old, but oddly comfortable. The movie quality is shockingly great on an updated perfectly sized screen though and the sound is really good. The entry point never fails to make us grin with delight, and the guy calculates your totals in his head (I’ll say again, bring cash!) So, so, so quaint. Hand popped popcorn in small batches with olive oil. Beer and wine! Eco-friendly straws! We buy single liquorice sticks mostly because it’s hilarious.Nothing else offers this type of atmosphere. We love it so much we drive over an hour from a nearby busy city with a Cineplex just to watch movies here.

Authentically wholesome! My wife and I have been going to the Gorge Cinema since we were kids, even having our first date there 14 years ago! The owners are genuinely the nicest people our small town has to offer, and the theatre is always clean, relaxing, and full of the tastiest popcorn and snacks you could hope for. A true staple of the community and a valuable piece of history for the town and of my life! 11/10!

This small theater is adorable and so quintessentially Elora. It's directly adjacent to a beautiful and unique park on the main corner of downtown by the bridge. I go see movies here over any other theater around because it's independently owned and plays a lot of films that you wouldn't get the chance to see elsewhere, as well as the big blockbusters.

This small theatre is perfect. Very clean, comfy and has the rustic feeling of the whole town. Pricing is good and has a variety of snacks. Remember to bring cash! Can't wait to go back.

This historic theatre is incredible. Original seating, exposed stone and a real authentic feel. They hold tons of events and outdoor screenings in the gorgeous courtyard beside the park. The owners are incredibly friendly. Have not had a bad experience in 15 years of going here. Memberships available as well as dinner&a movie combos with local restaurants. A+ Elora experience. Highly recommended for tourists staying in town.

A cosy theatre with comfy reclining seats and movie snacks on offer.Popcorn is reasonably priced, parking is available near to the theatre and it offers an interesting variety of films. The memorabilia in the building inspires nostalgia, love of older films and lends to the intimacy of the single viewing roomed theatre. The theatre hosted Dr. Anne Innis Dagg for a Q&A event that accompanied the screening of the film 'The Woman who loved Giraffes' and inspires interest in other screening events, contests and on-goings.The theatre is also available for rent and private functions.Looking forward to being able to return to this theatre - the seats were really comfortable

A unique experience. I love the roll-back seats. Don't expect the Galaxy but do expect great popcorn and interesting drinks (including beer!). The stone walls mean it can be a bit cold inside so bring your sweater.
