I cannot begin to express how great this place is.I needed help with my electric scooter, so I Googled 'bike repair shops near me'. The first two places I called basically told me - in kinder words - that they don't associate with my kind (the scooter riding kind).I tried calling Bike Edmonton Community Workshop, but didn't get an answer, so out of desperation, I decided to show up in person, and I'm ***so*** happy that I did. When I arrived, there was even another girl there getting help with her scooter!Even after admitting that they aren't experts in scooters, they didn't hesitate to help me.After missing my call, the shop manager even called me back within 15 minutes. What business calls back random missed calls? Amazing service. Shout out to both Greg and Larry. I cannot recommend this place enough. This place is run by volunteers and I swear they all helped and offered advice for fixing my scooter. They were all patient and kind, and willing to basically experiment until it was fixed. I honestly don't know what I would have done if they hadn't helped me.I did miss it when I drove past the first time, so I've attached a photo for reference.

I am a struggling woman who doesn't have a lot of money. I went to bike Edmonton and a gentleman by the name of Ken and his co worker Kenny helped me at a discounted rate fix my bike. I am very grateful for the help and understanding of my situation. If anyone ever needs there bikes fixed fast, at a good price and with every detail and explanation out on the table I would recommend these guys.

I needed to change my seat but didn't have the proper Allen key. They helped me with the tools. Great service. I plan on going back with tip money as everything was free.

This is wonderful place to get you bike fixed. They have new and used parts for reasonable pricing.I went their to get my rear wheel repaired. Since I'm new to bike repairing, a volunteer helped with mine. He was super helpful, he explained me each step and each part. He found exact fitting used parts to replace my axel and cones and fixed the hub. I'm hoping to study more about bike repairing so that I can go DIY tune my bike next time.

Today was my third time coming to the shop to do some work, and even though I came in for a DIY appointment, each time at least one of the staff members have helped me out and done things for me showing me how to do them like putting on a rear gearset or how to replace a bottom bracket. Alex, Larry, and Ken have all been a massive help to me, teaching me how to do things, and leaving me to my own devices in the rare chance that I happen to know what I'm doing, but still come over to check if everything is going smoothly and if I need any advice. They have a huge wall of nearly every used part you could ever need, from bottom brackets to friction shifters and everything in between. This is the only place I'll ever recommend to anybody that needs work done on their bike, simply because they'll teach you how to do the work yourself with the proper tools, or you can pay them a little bit more to do it for you, it's only $38 for a half hour service, and they do as much work as physically possible in that half hour. I haven't tried that yet so I don't know how much they can get done in a half hour, but even still a basic service at a retail bike shop I looked at would cost $150 minimum, not including parts, tax, or any hidden fees that may pop up, you could book 3 half hour appointments and a 15 minute one for less than the cost of the basic service at a bike shop.

I volunteer as this place frequently. It's a bike co op not exactly a pure bike shop. Everyone is volunteer and are willing to help you to the best of their ability.Update I still volunteer here and it's still great

This place is a city’s gem! I took my bike for its yearly check up and tuning and this was my first time in this place. Many positive things I would like to comment on:1. People are nice and friendly, willing to help and to teach you how to do things on your own. I felt like I was involved in the entire process of getting my bike all ready for rides! Special thanks to Vaughan, Alex and Nico - you were all so helpful and kind with your time! I appreciate it :)2. The space is great! You can go there and find your new bike or if you know about bikes, you can get the pieces you may need.3. Prices are friendly. They have a membership benefits option and they are student budget- friendly as well!4. They have all-things-bikes!! City maps and bike registration tags to protect your bike.Definitely 5 stars for this place! I am looking forward to going to one of their workshops too and will recommend this place to anyone that needs to tune their bikes!
