My Schlage lock stopped functioning properly and Allegion helped me replace it. I had an exceptional service, from beginning to end. I called, provided everything they asked me for (model number, photos, etc...), and within 2 weeks I got a new replacement Schlage lock, completely identical, at no extra cost (as per warranty). Thank you so much! Cheers!

2021 May 31 UpdateThe worst customer service I have experienced from any company.My $400 Schlage wifi look came with a lifetime warranty.On Monday, May 17 I contacted Allegion by phone to report my broken lock. As the office was closed, the recording told me to call back during business hours.On Tuesday, May 18 I contacted Allegion by phone, and after a series of voice prompts a recorded message told me to take pictures of my lock and forward it to them by email.On May 18 I sent Allegion all the photos showing where the lock had broken. I also explained what part had broken.On May 18, Allegion responded by saying the replacement would be sent the following week via courier.On Friday, May 28, 10 days later, I received the WRONG part from Allegion.On Friday, May 28, I responded to their earlier email describing they had sent me the wrong part, and forwarded pictures of the broken part so they could send me the correct part. I also phoned them and asked to speak to a CS Manager as I wanted them to expedite the shipment given they sent the wrong part in the beginning. I was told that someone would phone me on Friday, May 28.On Monday, May 31 having not received a phone call and having not received a reply to my email of May 28, I emailed them again.On Monday, May 31, I received the same boiler plate response....Your replacement part will ship next week by courier.This means they are going to wait till June 7 to ship me the proper part and I most likely will receive it by June 14 .Why does it take almost 30 days for this company to replace a broken part, when the lock is only 6 months old?

Two messages were left last week! No return phone call! Left another message today(after hours, this time) 6 days later! This product(Schlage deadbolt) is securing my residence, so it needs to operate on a continual basis! Due to the importance of the product they sell, one would think they would return their messages within 24 hours of receiving the message ,like their message states! Fail , will not recommend ! If these werent installed on all my doors and were id throw them in the garbage!

reached out to customer service to see about getting parts for a key pad lock we have that has a broken wire inside. Was told that the warranty is only good for 3 years and that the lock is 4 years old and has no warranty. I then asked if I could purchase this wiring harness and was told no its not a sellable part. This wiring harness broke during a battery change as it got pinched in the cover when it was reassembled. This wiring harness should be available. I feel there was very little understanding from the customer service representative that emailed me.

Poor warranty, poor service, poor quality products that they do not want to replace. Next time shop at costco, these guys won't take anything back even if broken from day one.

Needed warranty replacement and they keep mailing stuff without door number. They even tell me to track the UPS package even thou it got return back to them.

The service here is pretty quick usually. However, If your vehicle is not dock height, they just drop your items in front of the door and leave you to deal with it on your own. The guy just stood there watching me lift all the boxes into the pickup on my own. 2 skids. Horrible service. Employee at shipping was so lazy. And they do have a garage door they could have used to forklift into the truck but lied about it.
