This review is for strictly front desk staff. Dr Van has been my family doctor forever he’s hands down in my opinion THE BEST. His secretary is god awful.Terrible customer service is very short and unhelpful seems like she is uninterested and will avoid your call to where I have to call another doctor’s secretary to sort out my father’s affairs. The few times you do get through to her. She replies with “ I’ll let the doctor know” to my surprise it never gets done. Based on previous reviews I’m not the only one experiencing this. Do better

This clinic is simply designed to make money. Drs will only give prescriptions monthly, yet Dr Vanjaarsvelt wants two weeks advance notice to renew prescriptions. Follow the rules, and the meds are still late. In addition i have never waited less then 90 minutes to see him past your scheduled appt time, even if your appt is first thing in the morning. Absolutely no respect for patients schedules. Everyone dances to their tune, ir u fund another doc.Phone appts Dr Van rarely keeps them, or calls the following day without notice.His secretary Ellen is even worse. Wont return phone calls, and usually takes three requests before any task is completed.In my opinion they over book, too make as much money as possible, but forgot their primary purpose, patient care.If you want to be frustrated with not getting medication on time, and going through withdraw every few months, because they refuse to do their jobs, tasks not being completed, and being charged for every piece of paper you require, then go the this clinic!

Morgan is God-sent. She is front desk and she is kind, thoughtful and efficient. She deserves a raise. Dr. Small has been my Family Physician for years. 1000% amazing.

My wife had an appointment scheduled at 10am 24th April and we had scheduled thos 6 weeks in advance for her prenatal. As we were on our way we got a phonecall from the clinic saying the Dr is running late could we come at 11am.. We had no problem as in the past we've always had to wait at minimum 30 mins after our appointment time to see the Dr.. We arrived at 11am sat around for another 30 mins and when I asked the receptionist that technically its been 1 hr 30 mins delayed instead of apologising she had the audacity to defend herself as its not her fault for the delay. Then she said theres 1 more patien infront of us so basically we will be seen around 12pm and i asked why did theu not just call us in for 12 instead of calling us 1 hour later just to make us sit here for another 1 hour?!?! People have other things to do in life and a Drs appointmwnt should not consist of a 2 HOUR WAIT TIME WHEN BOOKED 6 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. THIS PLACE HONESTLY IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE AND UNORGANISED CLINIC YOU CAN EVER GOTO!!!!

Dr.'s Van Jaarsveldt and Badenhorst have been incredibly helpful and supportive doctors for my family for years, but I'm so frustrated by the front desk receptionist. Doesn't matter what time I call, it takes two or three tries at least to get through to her, if she picks up at all. She's always short with me when I do manage to talk to her, too.

I have seen Dr. Van Jaarsveldt for over 20 years, even though he can be a bit behind it is ok with me, because he cares and will use analogies so a person can understand. Fantastic doctor and extremely personable.

Dr.Smal is the only doctor I will see, as he takes the time to get down to what the matter is.Yes the reception can be difficult sometimes, but it is what it is. Just don't call around lunch . That's the worse time to call allt of places.A good doctor is worth the trouble.

I have been well served at this clinic. Dr. Smal and nurse Linette have been excellent. The main frustration is getting through on the phone and the fact that they do not accommodate email correspondence. The clinic Dr. Smal was at prior to this one did allow email correspondence which makes it easier to make routine appointments.

Have been coming here for a long time the medical center is always busy . But alot of good care comes from here

Dr. Lynette Badenhorst should not be a doctor. She gave me life threatening advice and had no knowledge of the prescription I was taking, and chose not to educate herself before she suggested I stop taking it. I fear for anyone who sees her and the elderly that I’m sure she’s not done well for. Please don’t see her and make a complaint to the physicians board so she can not harm anyone else. Her license should be reviewed and revoked, especially reading all of her other reviews. Sickening she’s still allowed to practice much less get paid by the government. Run away if they offer her.
