Crazy fun at Bare Axe Lounge - throwing axes, throwing darts, playing pool, and drinking beer! We came for a friend's pre-wedding party and had a total blast. Fantastic local beers to loosen up the novice axe throwing enthusiast, and great instructors to actually teach you how to do it, which took maybe 5 minutes. Mad fun, and they even let kids throw, ages 10 and up! Axe throwing, backwards axe throwing, double axe throwing, long-handle axe throwing, they do it all, with local craft beer, and they teach you, at Bare Axe! Superb fun.

One of my bachelor party stops and I would certainly go back. The staff member on site was a great instructor. Can’t complain about the beer selection either. After our session, we were allowed to hangout with use of the billiards and ping pong tables in the establishment. Awesome experience!

My family booked axe-throwing for three but the location ended up being closed due to covid. They happily took our money but never issued a refund. We called, and called, and emailed and never got our money back. Very frustrating.

Bare Axe Throwing, Bar & Lounge
We went last summer my explanation would be not memorable only in the fact that I would not spend my money or time there again. Awful experience to be honest - would not recommend. Was our first time throwing and there was no direction, no explanation and a lot of us missed our whole session. Would have been nice to have some help on throwing in general - just not somewhere I would go again.

The staff was extremely friendly, the drop in times all come with a lesson on how to throw the axes and the staff will stick around and provide you with tips on how to improve your throws. The whole process feels extremely safe as long as you stick to the rules they outline. There are large selection of drinks available as well and they're reasonably priced for any bar

Wonderful experience! Staff was amazing and we had the opportunity to play foosball and ping pong at no additional cost. Great place to visit! Highly recommended.

Axe throwing is a lot of fun but this place is a bit more than just axe throwing. They have a pool table, darts, ping pong and giant Jenga. Come by to throw axes but after you do that stay and hangout to enjoy everything else.The staff is very helpful in coaching you on how to throw axes. They want you to have a good time and enjoy it so they put in the extra effort to make sure you're doing it right and having a good time.Overall a great place with lots to do and a great staff.

Great place, axe throwing was awesome, full hour of fun. There are also lots of things to do while you wait for your turn to throw axes. Service is great as well. All around awesome place to hang out and have some fun.

Just had a corporate event last night of 70 people. Staff was organized, friendly, helpful, and know how to have fun. Nice to see they support local breweries like the Thornbury Village Cider & Brewery. I look forward to coming back.
