I have never used this company as I live 2 hours out of Lindsay. It’s Friday afternoon starting the Long weekend. An elderly woman sits in a wheelchair in front of an “old folks home”. People honk as she waves to everyone passing, when a man stops his lock service truck and gives the lady a bouquet of flowers, waves and drives away. This man made the ladies day. Hats off to this guy and his business.

They were very busy which must mean they are good. I got a couple of keys cut had great conversation with regards to the business and definitely will be back!

shouldn't have a job that involves customer service if you're that miserable that you'll take your anger out on a kid that was nothing but nice to you

Very poor customer service. I was told multiple times I would be reached out to by their tech. I ended having to call them multiple times after waiting all day for calls. I was told the first day that they were waiting on a device that would be received in the evening and they would come later to program the key. The did not contact me or show up so I called them to find out they were out of town. Then I was told they would contact me the following morning. They did not contact me the following morning. I contacted them around noon and the tech was not available and I was told he would contact me. He did not contact me and I called again at 4:15 to find out the device they were waiting for wasn’t in and they most likely wouldn’t receive it until monday. It is thursday and I need this key in order to use my car. If I had been kept up to date on things I could have already made other arrangements to get my car running. Gave 2 stars because I do realize times are tough right now.

Great service, fast. Guys are knowledgeable. But curious as to why a key is 4.99 to 5.99 here. I realize that the regular outlets didn't have the keys I needed, but everywhere else charges 3 to 4 bucks. Anyway, I guess you pay for what you need. I would go back if I needed the service.

I had an appointment for lock service in store. Despite confirming the time with the locksmith by phone the day before, no one was there when I showed up on time. I reached the locksmith by phone and he advised that he's out on a call and will be back when he's back. Waste of time and an hour of driving.

Great company, wonderful customer service! My daughter was looking after our cats/house while we were in Florida and she got locked out. I called Pro-Tect in the morning and left a message. They called back a few minutes later, got my daughter’s contact info and took care of all coordination arrangements. Before I sat down for lunch, my daughter reported that the lock was picked and she was in the house! Couldn’t have asked for a speedier resolution and for a very reasonable fee.

James was Awesome. Did everything he could to help. And help he did. Got my car fixed in a timely manner and the price was reasonable
