Ontario Waterway Cruises

I just came back from the Big Chute to Peterborough cruise (July 2-7, 2022). Absolutely perfect in every way. The Crew is amazing in so many ways ... friendly, helpful, efficient, safety conscious with great attention to detail. The spirit of the Crew reflects in a positive way with the passengers ... the rapport between Crew and Passengers is constantly evident. The meals were excellent and all prepared on board. The cleanliness was amazing and appreciated ... the windows were constantly being cleaned. Books, puzzles, cards, games all available too. Also grateful for their COVID-19 protocol regarding vaccination. Thank you for a most wonderful experience.

This is our second cruise aboard the Kawartha Voyageur. As always, great staff, delicious food, exceptionally clean and a relaxing, stress free 5 days. Next year we hope to experience another one of their cruises.

My elderly in-laws recently went on a five day cruise of the Trent-Severn. We were a bit concerned about them - but we need not have worried. They were well looked after by the excellent staff and they had a wonderful time. (They are already planning another Ontario Waterways cruise for next year.)

We did the Kingston to Ottawa cruise and it really opened my eyes to the beauty in our own province. Mark navigated the river system and all the locks perfectly! The whole staff was very pleasant and accommodating and hard working. Meals were plentiful and delicious. Excellent trip!Will book another next year.

Awesome! Recently cruised on the Trent-Severn. This boat surely is the cleanest, safest way to enjoy a vacation — complete with good food, friendly crew, never-ending beauty, and pleasant camaraderie. You would not be disappointed on board this ship.

second from Kingston to Peterborough, We plan to do the Ottawa to Kingston trip this year, great food on both cruises and plenty of it, upper sun deck (has a shaded section too) is great for viewing scenery as you pass along the waterways and canals. Crew is fantastic, from getting your bags from your car to your room and back at end of the trip, cabins and births are a bit small but I am 5 ft 8 and 260 lbs and I sleep comfortably. Boat is air conditioned and has WI-FI for those who need to stay connected. There was always nightly entertainment and snacks all day long

You will never find a cleaner ship with friendlier staff providing a more relaxing and scenic holiday trip through some spectacular ontario waterways then the Kawartha Voyageur. Owners are committed to their passenger’s safety and well-being especially during these times and deserve praise, not hate.

We had an excellent trip on the Kawartha Voyageur June 2022. Ontario Waterway Cruises, a family-owned business is efficient and very friendly. We travelled with about 48 other guests on this spankingly cared-for and interesting ship from Kingston to Peterborough along the St Lawrence, and up the lower part of the Trent-Severn Waterway and the Otonabee River with its several locks. Definitely worth a repeat visit - some colleagues on the trip had been a dozen times!

My folks recently took a 5-day cruise with Ontario Waterway Cruises, from Peterborough to Big Chute. They had a great time, and the staff went over and above what was expected to make sure they had a great time. They're already planning another cruise for next year!

This was our second cruise with this company. We both enjoyed it immensely and the great people we met on board. The staff could not do enough and I want to particularly mention our last meal there. It was lunch time as we docked and we asked to be served first as we were meeting some good friends on the dock as soon as we tied up, and they obliged. We met our friends who brought chairs for us to sit and were able to meet for about an hour. We did not stay for dessert as we wanted to get off, not having seen these friends because of Covid. While sitting there talking, Robin brought out 4 desserts for us. That was above anything we could have imagined. What other company would do this.Kudos to Robin and staff. A very relaxing trip and we will be back.
