Edmonton International Raceway - Edmonton's Only Raceway Sanctioned by NASCAR

Rather disorganized staffing at times. Which is understandable during covid 19 but even in previous visits I've noticed the wait times in lines are really long and waiting on food, entry, waiting for races to start for so many reasons, or even for the staff/announcer to communicate what's happening next, or staff to open the gate to the pit, can be a little confusing as to why it's taking so long. I've been glad to be in the pits and in the stands on many occasions and plan to come many more times. You can tell that people are passionate about the sport and making it fun and safe and they do a great job. It can be really difficult to find a staff who knows an answer but when we did they were very helpful! I'm so glad they were able to open and run a race this season and their covid 19 precautions were great! Well cleaned and maintained, lots more hand sanitizer than I was expecting to see, and even the lines on the ground in places! So even though my stars may be a little low, it can still a really great experience and they have a pretty great idea and setup, but like most things in life, it has some areas that could be improved!

Had a blast at NASCAR event July 27...the roar of the crowd, the smell of the track... awesome! My 3 young sons highly recommend! The down side.... ridiculous prices for hot dogs and beer and kids snacks... this is always what keeps families away from events.

Race a wreck was combined with pure stocks and as such involved pure stock rules. The announcer said that as cars go down they will leave the car on the track. Never happened. In their defense they all managed to limp them back to the pits. One of the cars was black flagged for rubbing bumpers. Didn't even spin the other guy out.The thunder cars were cool, but the race a wreck may as well have just been pure stock. Kinda boring. Glad the drivers had fun. Need to easy up on the rule.

Had an awesome time. Food was good and the racing was intense at times. Would definitely go back.

What an amazing experience! Came here for the final race of adrenaline and I had a blast. I have so much to say so let's break it down.- Parking: there is a large gravel parking area with lots of space.- Ticking/Consession: fair pricing for tickets, food is good but, as is typical in such facilities, slightly overpriced.- Viewing/seating: there are three large bleachers (one sodden two metal) with a good view of the track from any location. There is also a 4 level semi enclosed viewing area with an even better view, though to get in there is an additional fee.- Staff: where for the most part friendly and helpful.- Entertainment: the large 1/4 mile oval is the venue for many exciting events from hit to pass, future stock, IMCA Modifieds, and so much more!Overall this is a great place to visit if you are a fan of motorsports, or are looking for a gift for a man you know (you can also purchase a package that lets you drive a Nascar racing car around the track. Not just a ride along but actually at the wheel!)

Lovely owners. Knowledgeable staff. The EIR Test Drive is a great gift and the cost is reasonable for the experience and allows 2 tickets to an event. The races were entertaining with announcers providing audible information. There are interactive breaks. Food for sale. General seating. Easy to find location. Consider bug spray and hats as it is outdoors and the elements can be brutal.

We did the test drive here and everyone from check-in to pit crew to race prep was amazing. Genuinely enjoyed what they do and it showed, they're excited to get you out on the track and having fun. Would highly recommend and I'll be making sure to attend more events.... Maybe even in a race car!I don't see it on their website currently, but outside of the higher tier racing they also have fun races like hit to pass" and stacker cars (1 car attached to the roof of the other where one driver steers and the other works gas and brakes)
