What a beautiful store and the staff was so friendly! I was on a mission looking for the perfect set of canble holders for over a year now..and finally found the right ones in this store. Wasn't planning to get candles but ended up getting a pair because the service was so good. A perfect example of how amazing customer service can contribute to sales.

Beautiful store & great scents. Perfect for home decor and any occasion. Learned that Yummi Candles at Distillery District have been the trusted brand for quality made soy candles for over 3 decades. They also provide workshops for customers to participate making their own candles.

We went for the candle making class for my best friend’s birthday. It was very well organized, set up and executed. Steps were very clear when making candles and the staff were lovely. Space is very clean and the products smell wonderful.

I dropped a beautiful decorative item in the store and was treated with so much graciousness. In turn I bought a beautiful centrepiece for my home. My item is gorgeous and they have an amazing selection of goods, but it’s the sales associates and store culture that is most memorable. Thank you.

I have been working at yummi candles for the last couple of months. This company is definitely the messiest and least organized organization i have worked for. From higher up management to in store “management” there is often no sense of coordination between anyone. Aswell based on how frequent customer’s return the candles they are not worth the egregious price for such a low quality candle such as the 7oz candles. You will need at least 4 lit candles to smell the candle. The cleanliness of the store is another factor as mice run rampant behind the walls, and on occasion made an employee pick up mice droppings even if they refused the task. This company is riddled with nepotism and favourites, a former employee was promoted to store “supervisor” although clearly lacking in any sort of manager capabilities (aswell as personal hygiene) which left this supervisor to treat the employees as incompetent as the supervisor acted as a “Know-It-All”.As it is a “family” business expect the CEO to talk behind your back to other co workers about your performance and start gossip. aswell in store management and HR will talk behind your back to other co workers about your performance and start gossip. The store/workshop “supervisor” has on occasion made an employee cry during their shift in-front of customers from their unjust rules. As from experience gossip in management is rampant, at some point entertaining. Expect any sort of friendships to be shut down immediately and your hours to be cut if you are to criticize the company even as positive feedback.

It was one of the nicest classes I've ever attended. 100% recommended to go to a class you can go alone or go with your friends it will be super fun.

So pleased with these candles. Sienna is exactly the right colour to go with my fine china. Service was quick and courteous and the box was packed with great care, and I will definitely order from here again. So great when you can shop locally and get exactly what you’re looking for.

Had so much fun at the candle workshop. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about oils and specific categories of scents. You also leave the workshop with eight candles (2 large, 6 small). It’s crazy value!The candles are very high quality and the scents are so delicious. Will definitely be buying more! Lavender Maple is my fav.
