Update: almost less than a year later and a few visits, I have to voice my disappointment. They have dropped dramatically in quality. Wondering if they changed the head baker. For example, the raisin bread seems like a completely different recipe. I had raved about it to so many. The almond chocolate croissant is no longer in my top 5, so not what it was. Unfortunately I could go on. I could only wonder why they would take a chance of destroying what lured me to their bakery in the first place. They now completely lost me as a client.First impression 8 months prior: My first time and certainly not the last. I rarely give high notes on most bakeries because I find they've gone down in quality. Well, not at this place. The breads were delicious and the almond chocolate croissant was among the very best I've ever had. Bravo.

MariePain is a great place to buy: fresh croissons, baguettes or other sweet desserts. i dont recomand going on weekends because the place could be over crouded.

New experiences every visit. Many different types of breads cakes, sweets and sandwiches. Great for gift ideas. Small seating area for quick bite. Lots of parking. Outdoor seating would add to the Paris feel.
