Beautiful place to sit and watch the ocean and BC ferries arrive and depart while sipping on a coffee, go for a walk along the beach or walkway. Good place to swim. Has a nice sandy beach

It's a nice little beach that is quick to cool off. Be aware of tides. Usually swim at sunset and you can get an area to relax. Parking is a hit or miss even then but there is over by the activity centre to park for overflow.

Easy walkways along the shore. You can see ferries come and go. If you want to have an open sea view but don't want to get out of your car, that is the place to park and enjoy. All the parking spots are very close to the busy traffic road though, it wont be quiet for sure. If you visit at night, you can see the shining ferries and the ferry terminal.

This is my second year coming here. I’m from Vancouver and this place is my go to every summer. This place captured my heart and will always have a place in my heart. Great place to go unwind. Was lucky to see jellyfishes close to the shore being carried by the waves. I let that jelly fish go after taking this video.
