A lovely area featuring walking paths as well as a small wetland/wildlife sanctuary. Beautiful and maintained yearround. Went there today in the middle of some heavy snow and still was able to encounter many ducks as well as a polite trio of deer.

Our family found this to be a GREAT place to have a family beach day or picnics any time the weather is good.The water quality is generally quite good in this location with some exceptions.I recommend personal items be stored secure as possible while on the beach. Keep your eyes open for sharps; as goes for every beach theses days. The city of kelowna does a good job of maintaining the beach and surrounding areas.
