Faustina Hockey Club

We have had a lovely experience with Faustina hockey. The coaches and volunteers have been very dedicated and kind. My boys have enjoyed their house league and select programs. We highly recommend this organization.

After a game, the Faustina Hockey Club coach told me that my son was complaining that his head hurts after being hit earlier. The inept coach was totally clueless about Rowan's Law and concussion protocols. Faustina Hockey Club did not have a concussion code of conduct or removal-from-sport protocol as required for children who are suspected of having sustained a concussion. Needless to say, we won’t return to this dysfunctional club.

Both my son and my daughter play at Faustina and have for many years. At one time they were both playing at other leagues, I moved my son to Faustina to play with his friends and a year later moved my daughter as well. It has been a great place to play hockey over the years and a great experience for both of them. Best hockey decision I have ever made! Great league, Great people, Great hockey!

We have been with Faustina for 8 years and I couldn't imagine playing anywhere else. The organization is committed to ensuring the kids have fun while learning the game, so that they will love to play hockey even as adults. The amount of personal time the coaches dedicate to this is inspiring. Combine that with the great value & venue - you can't lose... no matter what the score board says.

Regretfully, I didn’t heed to warnings from many parents whose children unnecessarily suffered injuries with Faustina’s lack of safety precautions. I certainly paid the price by taking a chance and remorsefully put my children in harm’s way. Thank goodness there are other much better hockey clubs in the area who truly respect child safety and well-being.

My son joined the Faustina Hockey Club in 2018 and our experience has been very positive. The club prides itself on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for both players and hockey families. We have experienced hockey at other local organizations but can attest that Faustina is a very well run organization with strong professional volunteer involvement. The practices and games are played in first class facilities in Etobicoke. Faustina has a rich hockey history and I would not hesitate to recommend the Faustina Hockey Club to any family that is looking for a positive hockey culture for their kids to enjoy the game of hockey at all ages.

Sure, the facility is incredible — it’s the Marlies’ practice arena, after all. But Faustina’s real differentiator is their phenomenal, dedicated volunteer staff.

My two boys play here. They love it and so do we. It is very well run and it's all positivity all of the time. This is how hockey should be.

2019-2020 was our first year at Faustina for my son. For the last 7 years he was in a different house league. We changed leagues because his previous league had trouble filling the senior age groups. We had a great year with Faustina even though the year was cut short. My son is a house league player and has never played select. He fit in well with the other players on the team and the coach made him feel part of the team. The coach we had balance the lines well and everyone played the same amount of time. It did not matter your skill as long as you tried. We had a positive experience that my son wants to come back and play next year.

My kids have enjoyed playing with Faustina for over 10 years. Strong community focused, affordable hockey club with great volunteers. Have recommended Faustina to others and will continue to do so.
