If you like burgers this is a good place to eat them. The meat is of excellent quality and the price is right. Always packed and service is friendly and fast. Very good experience.

We were starving so my family and I stopped here because it was on st. Catherine and had poutine on the menu. Very average. We devoured the classic poutine because you really can’t mess up fries gravy and cheese curds. The fries are very skinny. The beef poutine was like burnt hamburger crumbled on top. The chick sandwich was not a chicken sandwich. White bread not toasted swimming in gravy and peas. We were quite unsatisfied. I suggest sticking to just the classic poutine if you try it out.

Place has a back in time diner feel to it. Including genuine glass Coca Cola bottles. Seated and served quickly. Sarah our server was very friendly and good. Nice thick milkshakes. The burgers were well seasoned and flavorful.

Didn’t like the attitude of the water and the tip is obligatory, the food wasn’t the best but I was starving and this was the only place near me.

Small burger, good fries (taste and portion) but expensive(around 23$ in total). Service ok… however, very stiff and cold. Almost felt like she was reading the menu to us.Felt like the waitress was suggesting that we gave her a 15% of tips. When it was time to pay by card,after tapping our visa cards, she asked us if 15% was ok for the tips and even selected the percentage for us on the machine (she held the machine the whole time).

For what the Steer Burger lacks in size, it more than makes up for in flavour. Each burger is more of a slider in todays terms but they are great. Real brine pickles, great fries and a cooked to order burger, they are worth trying as a true Montreal institution

Prices are a bit steep for what you get, but it is downtown Montreal after all. The curled fries are pretty good, and the fish and chips was quite normal. The restaurant has a diner atmosphere. The restaurant operates bilingually. The actual building is deep but narrow and there's quite a few tables.

- waitresses are kinda rude, they made us pay while we were eating- cool fries but were soggy and undercooked- burger was average tasting, not juicy and small- poutine undercooked and overwhelming, super messy and not really appetizing

Extremely simple and delicious burger! We tried number 4 and 5 (cheese burger with/without bacon) coleslaw, salad and friesService is very good!Recommended to try the burgers but I advise to have double meat!

The food is not good at all the meat of hamburger is black I said black and the steak is dry and black again and the poutine sauce is salty i totally not recommend the picture of the menu is beautiful but the product comes out is completely different and they tell me that place is more than 65 years wao.
