Auberge le Coin du Banc

We stayed with the rustic camping for 3 nights from Aug 12-14. The owners were very friendly and allowed us to use the showers and toilets and cook with propane stoves on picnic tablea by the inn. The only drawbacks were TONS of mosquitos in the camping field, and we asked for ice but were told kind of rudely at the bar no. Thanks for the great stay!

*RESTAURANT*I did not stay at this place but came here to eat breakfast twice and it is such a peaceful Auberge with a nice homey and calm vibe. The food is simple but very delicious and both times I went the place was always semi empty. (Thursday/Friday around 10-11) Would highly recommend for someone not wanting the hustle and bustle of the highly touristic restaurants in Percé!

Truly a charming place with a warm and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Situated just outside a Percé. We intend on returning.

Please read the reviews of this hotel carefully before booking. A closer review of their 4.4 overall rating will reveal that many of the 5 star reviews have no comments (presumably friends or bots), while many other 5 star reviews with comments are merely about the food. Comments about the actual accomodations seem to vary between 1 and 3 stars.That being said, please take the time as to avoid being disappointed. We've already expressed concerns directly with fellow guides and friends. My reccomendations: spend the extra $25 and get a cozy hotel in Perce. If you do decide to continue and book a room here if your confirmation tells you, you have room 7 promptly cancel your booking. Not worth it. Not cozy, not rusty, simply disrepair and lazy.After 4 days of hiking and camping in Gaspesie, our final day being a 17km trail run du Mont-Albert, it was only fitting that my wife and I stayed somewhere cozy but with a camp feel". To be honest about this review. I gave it 2 stars originally….because no one could speak English (and then I was suppose to reach out to English person rather then them reaching out to me)…the owner doesn’t care (unless you extreme sports person). And like “man baby” (who snow shoes, I guess) texts me all angry I don’t like his 2 star hotel. Anyway, that’s why I put it up to 4 stars. But I am reviewer now (I reviewed 8 places) and people count on my honesty and opinions…so need to be real!! The place has lost soul! We are hoping maybe wife will take over…and he can raise the kids.

Breakfast was fantastic. Friendly service. Beautiful old building, we would certainly go again!

If you want to eat a 5 star meal in a comfortable home like setting with the view of the water, this is the place. Next time we visit from Ontario we will definitely come back. Great local beer. Best dish ordered was the cod with crispy salted pork.

View is amazing, the rustic looks of the place is lovely and the prices are great compared to restaurants in Percé

I booked a kayak adventure Baie&Falaise for my boyfriend birthday. We were lucky to have excellent conditions both weather and water to start the day! Our guide Michael, took us out to sea and we enjoyed our kayak trip. I recommend this guide for either novice or experienced kayakist, he as a lot to share and very easy to connect with.When returning to the beach, we enjoyed a meal at the Auberge's restaurant. Due to the popularity of this place, a couple of groups were eating before us and I believes that the kitchen was overwhelmed. But stay patient, they do the best they can. I can tell you that the menu is worth the wait! The food is delicious and serve in an authentic style. Little gem to stop by if you are nearby and want to avoid the overcrowded Percé.

If you go to Percé, you should consider spending a night at Auberge Le Coin du Banc. The place is super cozy and the hosts very welcoming. You will be served a hearty and authentic meal in a very friendly atmosphere.
