It is difficult enough to find a good, trustworthy, and professional roofing company. In PC toit you have all three. I believe that the true test of a good company is how they respond when things go wrong because it’s easy to say a company is good when everything goes according to plan. Mistakes can happen on any renovation project and unfortunately it happened to us and it damaged the interior of the building. However PC toit took responsibility right away and did not try to pass off the blame like most roofers or general contractor would do. They were completely transparent in the entire process and left all decision to us on how and who would make the repairs. They did not insist that we use any particular company and only requested that they would be consulted as they would be bearing the costs. It caused a major inconvenience to us but it was made easier by PC toit and their professionalism in handling this situation. If it was any other company I’m sure it would not have been resolved as quickly. So I thank them for that and they showed genuine remorse over what happened. If it wasn’t for the unfortunate mistake, I would have been completely happy with the service provided by PC toit. They have a strong team of workers and outside of the loud talking and swearing on the jobsite, we really appreciated their attention to detail and picked all garbage and debris. In our everyday lives when we deal with companies and service providers, sometimes you can tell when a company is truly interested in their customer’s satisfaction and PC toit is one of them. I would give them a 5 but I do have to deduct 0.5 for the incident but since I can’t do half points I’ll have to round down. Otherwise I highly recommend PC toit for your roofing needs.

quick response, but only handle flat roof

I live in st hubert, this company did the roof on my apartment building first of all they left the job incomplete and not secure and that night we had rain and due to their daulty work the 2 top floors got water damage. The work was completed improperly by this i mean it wasnt level and it didnt drain properly, then when we questioned them about the huge puddles of water the secretly came back at night and drilled holes to “help” anyways this was 2 years ago and i have to redo it because they left rotten wood under the “new roof” so be careful if you want a flat roof done by this incompetent company. I have pictures and i cant even add all of the to portray the in cometence ex: leaving the bottom layer of old wood then place not screw but place shims under the wood to try and make it level. Improper draining material ,etc the list goes buyer beware

I got estimates from five roofing companies, and this one seemed the best in explaining patiently and in detail exactly what they would do and in suggested only what was needed. Their roofing material is TPO flexible plastic membrane, which my research suggests is durable and safe to instal (seams welded with hot air, not open flame) PC suggested none of the costly “improvements” that other roofers pushed and their price was the lowest by several thousand dollars. And they did well in respecting a request that they take extra care to protect our garden, leaving very little debris in the area.They showed up exactly when promised on the date we had arranged and finished within one day. When I had a question afterward about one aspect of the installation that looked potentially problematic in their photos of the job, the office manager took the time to reassure me with more information. She sent more detailed photos and then had the job foreman call me to answer any further questions. I was satisfied after this. A plus throughout the process was that they were able to explain equally well in English or French. My French is good, but I didn’t want any misunderstandings on a job this big.I would hire PC again without hesitation.
