A warm and cozy place to stay. Hosts you can have friendly conversation with. Additional amenities like a reading room with a couch and a dining room for breakfast and a garden seating area. Homemade cookies available all day, clawfoot tubs and breakfast at the time of your choice that is a 10/10. We also had our dietary needs accommodated. I can't think of a reason not to stay here.

Our little hotel stay was amazing! We got here at 11:50 last night still checked in, got a tour last night made our time for breakfastThen we had a good sleep actually! A little short but was good! Woke at 7!They served us breakfast (fruit yogurt, Banana bread, muffin, orange juice, coffee, pancakes, eggs and really good back bacon!)I highly recommend Country encounters in Coleman Ab if your in the area looking for a budget stay that well worth it!

Thank you Dawn and staff for an amazing getaway. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, we were welcomed. The staff gave us suggestions of things to do in Crowsnest Pass and local restaurants. The room (North Room) was so quiet and beautifully decorated.The breakfast was simply...awesome. Dawn cooked it fresh every morning and we had a nice visit with her and her dog. If we want to go back to Crowsnest Pass, we will definitely stay here again.

Great quiet location, fantastic owner and exceptional full hot breakfast. Room was terrific, big and cozy, bathrobes were such a great addition. Northern lights even showed up!

Over all it was an ok place. It was quiet and the owners were friendly. The room we stayed in was a 1920's theme and was charming with the antiques but when we took off the cover on the bed we found a tissue. The cleanliness was soso, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great.

Dawn and her team catered my wedding this last weekend and they were absolutely amazing! We were recommended to them from another happy couple and we were blown away how helpful they were. The food was absolutely phenomenal! We have had several guests comment that it was one of the best catered meals they've ever had.The food aside, they were incredibly tenacious and proactive in helping us work with Covid restrictions. As the groom, I honestly barely interacted with them the evening of, they knew exactly what they were doing and did their jobs perfectly. We just couldn't have been happier!!

Great place to stay! Lovely room! The claw foot tub in our room was amazing! The owner was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay there again!
