Anselma House

This place needs help with so many things.

My daughter and I are blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful, caring, strong woman who are very supportive and extremely kind during our time of need. Thank you staff and residents for all your love and support ❤

Anselma House serves our community to protect and give refuge to those who are feeling vulnerable and at risk. It’s a vital local facility offering a new beginning for women, and often their children, taking them out of harm’s way as a result of spousal violence and abuse in all forms.

Not sure how I got to this site, but willing to take a chance and make an acquaintance, once everything is settled down, and see how I can provide any support to the mothers and lovely beautiful and caring woman of our beautiful community. xoxo smiles.

They took me in as their daughter and we became family with all the broken princesses. It was a good healing process. Sadly, they can't provide the same due to lack of donations.

First time I go their, I was dealt with through intercom, I understand the situation with the covid and what not, but there must be a different way to speak with people trying to help . The idea of not accepting used cloth or item for donation is absurd, they only accept new cloth with their tags . I don't think new cloth are more safe, use logic. I wish them all the best , and I wish I was able to help .

My family and I were in there for months, and I will forever be thankful for the wonderful staff and people I met there. They make it feel worth it to leave bad situations. They also helped us realize that what we were going through was actually domestic violence. I will never forget my stay there, even though it was chaotic and messy. The staff were always there 24/7 and made it clear they still would be even after our stay.They are definitely the best shelter out there and provide things not many shelters do around here.I definitely met some life long friends there.A lot of the staff have also had personal experiences similar so it makes you feel understood. I was in the hardest times of my life and they still managed to bring light to the situation with me.

This place has let me fall through the cracks and left me in a dangerous situation that has put more bruises on meThey said outreach would call me to help me and i have waited 35 days for that when i called back in crises the one intake hung up on me until i calmed down do not donate to this place they cherry pick who they hp and do not represall women
