After having 2 negative experiences with mechanics (overcharging or missing important maintenance issues), I have been getting my car serviced here for the last few years. Ben is skilled, honest and thorough. I've never had a negative experience. Reasonable prices, highly recommend!

After relying on reviews, photos and location to decide on H Tech, my son and I took in his overheated and overheating 93 Civic hatch we'd been advised to write off by a dealer. The owner/mechanic got out of us our description of the events of the problem, looked at the car in our presence, agreed to try to find and fix the underlying malfunctioning parts, and did so. When one problem resurfaced, he again carefully listened to our observations, verified them, and fixed the cause. A capable and trustworthy diagnostician and mechanical repairer.

Honest mechanic (one of the few) in Richmond. Gave him a try after the most highly rated mechanic in Richmond (according to Yelp) turned out to be a dud (huge red flags). I had two different repairs done at Sunny Coast and also referred a colleague here. Prices were lower on labour and parts markup than anything else I could find in Richmond.This is a small shop. It's mainly the owner and I have seen 1 other employee on the weekends. Keep that in mind if you need urgent service _right now_.

H Tech Motor INC charged about 1/2 of what Mobil1 does for a battery install, and the service was fast and courteous. Maybe that is why they rate 8% higher than Mobil1 on Google reviews.

The boss is very honest and friendly. Installed summer tires for my Model Y.Reminded me to do an alignment for wheels (without being pushy).Price is very fair and services are good.Will definitely go back for auto services.

Ben the boss is friendly and the helpful type. Serviced (annual oil change) the Porsche Macan for $13x. What a deal compared to the $995 annual service I get at the Vamcouver dealership. They don't have fancy air conditioned showroom, no free coffee, no courtesy car, no service advisor that wears tie, no pretty looking cashiers. They only have honest, quick service that charges a fair price.

Been taking my cars to H Tech over the last few years, and I would highly recommend this shop. Ben is a really great and honest mechanic, and charges reasonable prices for parts and labor. Be sure to call in ahead of time to book an appointment, as they do seem to be quite busy.

I had one of my worst experiences at a mechanic in my entire life going to H Tech. My usual mechanic was fully booked for the next 2 months so I needed something done quickly and so I called H Tech. When I got there the same day, I was rushed by the mechanic/staff and was given very little attention. I was rushed to get out when the work was done even though my car was left extremely untidy. It felt like absolutely no care was given to my car. I believe they were overbooked and tried to do too many appointments. I wish they had told me they were booked that day so I wouldn't have went. They were on the phone almost the entire time while working on the vehicle and when speaking with me. The customer service was very poor. I will definitely not go there again.
