Marie's Motel & Restaurant
The motel was quite basic and it was fine for a one night stay. The bed wasn't terribly comfortable and the furniture looked a bit battered. What's most disappointing was how dirty the floor was. Our feet were so dirty after 5 minutes walking around the room. The check in/out process was very simple though.

Rooms are clean and very basic. Door key didn't work. All it needs is some lubricant.Restaurant meal was tasty. Management and staff were very good.

Motel needs serious work, door locks stick, blow dryers do not work, bed was clean but fan was filthy, no A/C, garbage and bags of pop tins litter the grounds, service poor on Motel side.The restaurant offered fresh tasty Chinese cuisine, many options. Service was efficient and meals were good.We recommend the restaurant but definitely not the Motel. Value for price paid seriously out of line.

Food was awesome from the Chinese menu. Had the mess from the Canadian menu (fries dressing hamburger meat and gravy). Wouldn't order again. Hamburger meat was just a beef pattie cut up.

My fiancé and I headed across the island camping for the weekend and decided our last night we would stay here to get rested up for the long drive back to St. John’s. We were treated like family here. The room was clean, organized and beautifully decorated. The people running this place are amazing. I look forward to staying here again!

Best tasting Chinese style food that I have had in Central and Western NL.I been here before, however, on this particular day the noodle in the Cantonese chow mein was scorched.Staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and a little dated. We ate our fill and still had plenty to bring home.

Clean but strangely set furniture and cable box in our room. There were no extra electrical outlets so we had to unplug tv and cable box to use blow dryers, curling irons and to charge our phones. Food was good but took 45 minutes to get our meals. Friendly workers, great price.

Charged $17.99 for a bowl of veggies saying it was kung pao chicken, with less than one chicken ball worth of chicken.

The food was ok, and the service workers were very friendly. They were a tad disorganised, but otherwise ok. It's an interesting atmosphere being mainly a Chinese food restaurant, but Canadian" options are available also. The dining room is not painted a nice colour
