Humber River Hospital Emergency Room
The triage nurses were a little bit harsh, but I think is because is the most stressing part of the process.All the other people I meet in this hospital was incredibly lovely and helpful. Stayed at the pediatrician area for 3 days and even the people who brought food and clean was amazing.Love the nurses really good people ♥️Really glad I went there.

Went the the ER with my girlfriend due to a severe allergic reaction waited for 2 hours for the check in nurse to rudely send us home after telling her to shorten her symptoms to yes or no answers .Humber River ER has always been the worse emergency room in Toronto and probably the province. The way they decide fast track appears random at times on top of it that if you do get fast tracked you can still be waiting hours to see a doctor who probably doesn’t care and tries to get through you fast . Travel the distance and go else where

My appreciation goes to everyone in the hospital for the great job they do. Am absolutely used of the wait times, but…. To my surprise,…The doctor gave me results regarding my health in public while standing at the nursing station, this lack of privacy hit me deep.

Been here for hours. Been waiting to see doctor. Patients who came after me are seen before me. The way they look at you and let others go looks like being racist. New thing they say they need a special room for ears and that room is been empty since I came to the hospital. That room is right in front of waiting area. Hospital staff and nurses have such high attitude.

Long wait time. The nurses are really rude and uncaring. People are in pain and the nurses are talking and laughing with each other. The doctor was very professional. I asked the nurses if they could give me Ibuprofen they looked at me confused and the doctor told them it's Advil, even he shook his head about how dumb they were. Seriously, don't hire hospital staff who don't know anything about medicine!

Been to emerg a few times and I’d say about 80% was positive. They follow a method called Triage where they prioritize the sickest people first so if there was a wait, it was because there were people in worse condition. Every time I went in with a real emergency, I was treated within 30min to 1 hour. There are a few bad doctors and nurses but most were friendly and helpful. This an emergency room. If you go with an emergency you will be treated ASAP. If you go there for something that isn’t time sensitive, you will have to wait

Absolutely awful! The administrators told us to wait in the next room because it was too crowded and then when it came time to call our names they did not check if we were in the next room. The staff literally abandoned us. There is absolutely no excuse to misdirect patients and make them wait in discomfort.

These guys are amazing, staff is very caring and respectful and took my emergency very seriously. These guys save lives, all the negative reviews are inappropriate. They're doing their job during one of the worst periods in history.
