Pelee Wings Nature Store, Experience Nature!
Visiting the store for their sunset paddle and dinner events and it was so worth the almost 3 hour drive. The hosts are so lovely and the dinner was delicious! The paddle was about 2 hours led by Ethan who is just a delightful young man. He spent time with each paddler, asking questions and chatting about all kinds of subjects. He even gave us a demonstration of rolling his kayak. So fun! Once we returned from the paddle, Nathan and Cameron got us all out safely and dry lol. Dinner was ready! Beef tenderloin with twice baked potatoes and caesar salad with a water or Gatorade. Ive never had beef that tender! Sooo good. We had a fire while we ate and watch the final moments of the sunset. I dont think it gets better than a Lake Erie sunset on the water. I highly recommend this sunset paddle event and the store is a must see as well for kayaking and birding.

The sunset paddle followed by a steak dinner was fantastic. The operators proceed some on water instruction that helped my 12 year old improve his paddle skills. They Lake Erie was also very cooperative with us as we couldn't have handled significant waves with our recreational kayaks. The dinner was awesome with filet mignon and twice baked potatoes.The Outfitters part of the business is also outstanding. We bought out kayaks with very little knowledge or experience. Out on the water during the paddle they let us try their carbon and fibreglass paddles. This showed us how we can start improving our own kits. We will be back!

i have made 2 big purchases ( big for me), a Swarovski Scope and about 1000 dollars of accessories a couple of years later. The service has been nothing short of stellar. The scope purchase; the staff answered all my questions via email and texts and the quality of the scope speaks for itself. I recently wanted to do some digiscoping and sent questions via text. The responses were timely within minutes. They asked great questions about my scope and camera gear and guided me to the right items. I made my purchase online and post purchase that some of the items had promotions that i had not applied during the transaction and they would be applying a refund. This is the mark of a company with great integrity. Overall the speed of response, the level of service, the prices are best in the market on high quality product. What a lovely evening we had! The sunset paddle and dinner was amazing! The paddle was almost two hrs and the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Dinner was served once everyone was back. We had a delicious meal that consisted of beef tenderloin, twice baked potatoes and salad all while being entertained by a solo singer and chatting with new acquaintances. The owners and staff really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time!!

Great service and great experience! Service and attention to detail was amazing! Staff were friendly and helped us reserve 8 kayaks for a milestone birthday event for my Mum at Pelee National Park! Everything was ready to go and they even offered flexibility on the number of kayaks and swapped one out for a canoe all at no extra charge! Great value and great time had by all! Success! Great store with lots of selection for adults and even kids. Many nature books and guides. A lot of neat nature-themed souvenirs as well. The store looks small from the outside but it’s definitely worth a stop!

I’m an online customer located on the western side of Canada. The folks at Pelee Wings were so responsive in answering my questions on binoculars I’ll use for birding. They guaranteed the best price in Canada, and upon checking other online retail stores, they did have the best prices. Friendly staff, nice website and quick shipping! We have had awesome service from the first time we visited this store to try out kayaks we were considering buying as upgrades to our current recreational kayaks. Nathan was helpful and patient showing us the differences and giving us tips as we tried them in Lake Erie. The order process was simple then 10 months later when they arrived Eric gave us fantastic service running through the features as well as helping us choose new paddles. We look forward to returning to check out the new line of Typhoon suits and hope to try a Friday paddle! Thanks to everyone :)
