West End Community Centre

This centre is has quite a few activities. The library here is amazing and i must compliment the staff for their wonderful service. The centre is clean, staff are courteous and friendly and the centre is very conscious about the environment and have resources about going green, keeping the environment safe and clean. I recently went to the library to use the computer and printer, and the process was seamless and so accessible and the staff there we so nice helping our elders use the computer.

Great space to chill or study or take any of their awesome classes. If I could change one thing it would be cleaner restrooms but I know they're trying their best.

Nice staff, facilities a bit outdated, a facelift Reno would be nice.

From my Brazilian point of view it is awesome: a public and well manteined building with good and confortable library; several classes of sports and arts; gymnasium for sports (during my visit it was serving as an ice skating place); services for the community (like parking permits). A wonderful meeting point for the people in this neighbourhood.

A must visit on West End . Everything in one place , and it’s kids, pet friendly .Well maintained and welcoming to everyone.Lots of events, Art displays, and sport facilities.Amazing experienced employees.

A real centre for activities in the westend with a big ice rink plus gym with VPL branch attached plus a high school. Home for the seed bank. Many classes. Linked to Coal Harbour Community Centre and Barclay Manor.

Used the gym facility, very clean and not too busy . You need to bring a lock if you went to store your bag. The large fans in the cardio room are too loud and disturbing

The academy is very simple but has a plenty of aerobic and weight training equipment.The spinning class is good and the place contains various bikes. Sometimes is a lit bit hot inside but they have a fan to turn the room fresherI do not know about the other activities but I observe a substantial frequency in the other classes.The atmosphere in the weight room is nice but there's no instructor showing if you are doing right or not your workout.They open every day including Sundays, what is very good to practice over the weekend.The price is affordable but a lit bit confuse since you have to decide on Flax Passes or Activities. They should have a combo pass also affordable …Every week they put some notice in order to motivate people to practice exercise … it is very funny the themes that they present.If you are in Downtown Vancouver for sure this is the more complete place to do exercises.
