Odd Burger
Good vegan burger restaurant in Waterloo, service was friendly and fast. The famous burger was alright, the chickpea patties were a bit soggy and could use some caramelization on the outside and more seasoning. The patties and bun were almost indistinguishable from each other. I liked the taste of the pickles and famous sauce, would suggest a bit more sauce on the burger.Really liked the famous style fries even more than the burger. The fries were crispy and had good flavours from all the toppings. Would come back again for the fries.

Late night pickup. The two (women) working were very friendly. Greeted me as I walked in. I had issues placing a pickup order through the app but I was provided help and awarded the promotion that was being offered. I'm very impressed that they jumped on a resolution instead of thinking about what to do or declining. That's customer service at its best. Thanks! As for the food. It's always very good. From chain to chain they know what they're doing! Keep it up!

We learned of this new vegan fast food restaurant and were anxious to try it.Uptown Waterloo usually has plenty of free 2 hour parking but today, Friday at 2:30pm, it was hard to find available spots.Odd Burger's listed address is part of Waterloo Town Square which is 75 King Street South however, the actual store Front is located on Willis Street. The restaurant is quite small; the pickup counter is to the immediate right and two ordering kiosks a few steps away. There are three small dining tables located inside the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and well-lit. Staff is very friendly and helpful as it was obvious to them it was our first visit. All orders must be placed via the kiosks, which are very user-friendly and well laid out. The menu items have detailed descriptions and easy option buttons to help you customize your food just the way you like it. Payment must be made at the kiosk via credit card or debit card; I don't know if cash is accepted. Our food came quickly approximately 7 minutes.Fries: thick cut, well seasoned and crispy. A good portion size and tasty.Onion Rings: made from red onions, light, crispy batter that is not greasy. Great tasting onion rings.Gyro Wrap: tasty sauce but I found the gyro meat to be too salty. The meat had a nice firm texture. I did find the wrap to be on the smaller side of the typical gyro wrap.Buffalo ChickUn Burger: this was a great little ChickUn burger. The spice from the sauce was just right and a good size. The ChickUn seitan has a great texture that is very satisfying.Preposterous Burger: this was a very tasty burger. The patty is generous and thick and is made in house, as is everything on their menu. They add beet juice to the burger which really makes it look like meat. Thick patty has a small bun which is great as the burger is the star instead of the bun. The toppings are generous and everything tasted great together. We are generally health conscious, vegan eaters and ingredients and where they come from is important to us. The seitan they make for the patties is very similar to the seitan we make at home. We feel good about the quality of the food, aside from things being deep fried. The listed prices are fair value for a fast food vegan restaurant and compare to many other fast food restaurants. $7.99 for a good sized burger is a comparable price.Based on our experience we would definitely recommend Odd Burger and we will definitely be returning....being that today is Earth Day, it is a good reminder to think about our planet and how negatively the meat industry affects it...give some thought to this.

So happy this place exists and is continuing to expand to new locations. Great vegan comfort food. The Chickun Pretenders with honey" mustard and the Preposterous Burger with Fries Supreme are my go-to orders for lunch/dinner. The Maple Crunch with "ham" for breakfast. Never disappointed."

Cute little place, fast service, nice staff and pretty good food. I ordered the Vopper with fries, gravy and a strawberry milkshake. The burger (I got the smashburger) was so pretty, though it did not taste quite like a Whopper of course but it was good and fresh overall. I really enjoyed the fries but the gravy was not for me, it was not a flavour I enjoyed and tasted a bit too sweet. The milkshake tastes like strawberry milk candy, heavy on the oat flavour, not too bad for a vegan milkshake, though I don't know if I'd get it again as the flavour changes as you drink it and it's not as good then. Overall a good experience, I want to go again to try the chicken". (I wanted to note my sister got the famous burger and said it was bigger and better than an original Big Mac

OddBurger is an introverts dream since you don’t have to talk to anyone. You order on the giant iPads, and it comes out hot. I wish more places out adopt this. In addition to this, the food is delicious! I wish they would come to the US!

Love this new addition to the Odd Burger Franchise Family in Waterloo Ontario. We always go to Odd Burger in whatever town they're available in!We had the breakfast sandwich and chicken wrap and both were fantastic as usual. My partner isn't even vegan and says it's the best chicken ceasar wrap she's ever had! Plant based chicken is on point and the bacon crumbles are soft and tender.Good job on the consistency of quality from store to store, and as usual service was fast and staff are super friendly!Good luck with the grand opening!

This place was okay. The food was exactly how I expect vegan food to taste. It’s a great alternative for people like me who miss McDonald’s. A big downside is that the food is quite pricey. Two combos will easily run you over $40 which imo should never be the case for fast food with no service. The ordering is done through a self serve kiosk. The tables were uncleaned, the hand sanitizer dispenser was out of hand sanitizer. It was a pretty mediocre experience, and I likely will not be returning.
