Canyon Rim Trail
A lovely trail to walk. That being said, proper footwear is required because it can be a bit rocky in places and there are sections that involve going uphill, downhill, and stairs. Some nice early summer flowers blooming (the arrowroot balsam leaf flowers had just passed their season as we walked the trail. To see those spring flowers, it is best up to mid May) and we saw a deer. Parking lot is available with a modest amount of spaces and the trail is right across from Bear Creek Park.

Canyon Rim Trail
Next to the Campground. Good place for a little hike. Nice Views. Good to have binoculars with you. There was a wildfire a few years ago, you can see the remains. Some parts of the trails are steep uphill. Its good to have hiking shows. There are an information board on the parking spot. When i was there with my car, also where some RVs because of that not so many parking spots.

Nice little 1-hour loop hike around the canyon and waterfalls.

Canyon Rim Trail
This is a short trail but with some climbing and lots of steps. It is worth the effort as the climbs lead to some really nice views over Okanogan lake and Bear Creek including a nice water fall.

Must do one hour hike close to Bear Creek campground. Nice canyon, waterfall and lake views via a well maintained trail.

What a hike! Beautiful and a bit harder that we initially thought, but we made it. We started on the right side and had a steep climb but it was all worth it for the breathtaking views of the lake. The waterfall and river on the trail is beautiful too. Best time is to go early morning, before 7 am if you can. Remember to take along some water if you are heading out in the heat.
