Grocery Gateway by Longo's Fulfillment Centre

I used to use the service, but today one of their drivers was being so impolite and discoutiouse to the front desk at my condo that i won't be using Grocery Gateway ever again.I was suprised at the lack of respect for the rules of the building. Really not appropriate and not apropriate to listen to at 8am in the morning.

For the third time, I have had a horrible experience with Grocery Gateway. Twice my order was delivered to the wrong address - now when the driver calls, I always confirm the address! Tonight, my order was over 30 minutes later, so I called and was on hold for over 20 minutes. The driver locked his phone and keys in the truck, so it will be almost 2 hours late. I have had to delay evening plans. It has taken more time out of my day than going to shop for my own groceries!I like the quality of the food from Longos, but it does come at a premium and a steep delivery fee. They did give me a credit for my delivery fee this time, but honestly, I can't trust them again.

It’s unfortunate they send rotten berries or near expired dairy repeatedly… and hope you don’t have time to call back or that you don’t catch it.I’m a busy mom of 3… the whole point of using the service is for the convenience. But if I have to spend so much time calling back and on hold. Then it’s pointless.This last time they charged my card duplicate times to a total of almost $1000 for one order and refuse to help me get it removed. The actual grocery bill is only $300. I’ve wasted hours on the phone calling them and no one is willing to help. Or seem to care at all.I’ve been a customer since 2015. It’s sad that they think this is how “treating you like family” is.

I ordered groceries for a friend who has covid. There was snow, so if the groceries had been delayed I would not have minded. But they never got delivered at all. Driver texted my friend, she responded, but groceries were never delivered. I called customer service twice, 2 hours apart. Both times the rep promised to look into it and call me back. They never called back. I should have used Voila, which I have used every week for the last year and has never let me down. With Grocery Gateway I paid $70 for no groceries.

Another poor grocery service by the massive grocery companies in Toronto. I paid 15$ to get my order delivered the same day between noon to 2.00 PM. At 2.15 PM, I received a call stating that my order will be delivered by 3.30 PM. I called again to inquire about my order as I have been advised that the driver will be delivering my order around 5.15 and that Grocery Gateway does not guarantee that the order will be delivered within the required window. I wonder why customers have to pay 15$ to book a delivery window whereby there isn't any guarantee that orders will be delivered within that window. Poor service, poor customer service despite the inflated pricing. its the last time I order from Longos.

Good service so far on two orders. Coming here from PC express where I had some horrible service. I find that there is a bit of a premium that is paid with Grocery Gateway, for example they do not honor flyer sales online and their reward points are just awful! But service wise, at least with the delivery drivers, they have been on time and polite. I've only ordered container foods, so I can't comment on the freshness of products. It would seem that grocery stores can stand to make a windfall with delivery service, if they can step it up with consistent service and quality.

Grocery Gateway by LONGO's : one the top business establishment in Canada . Very thankful and proud to work for/with them for almost 14 years. Horrible experience recently!!Received so many unfresh items in one order! moldy organic grapes, moldy blueberries and two box of milk which will be expired in two days and two package of bread expired in two days!!Bad customer service!!! people working there just do not care at all. They agree to refund the money for milk and moldy grapes and blueberries , but not for bread, and told me the bakery freshness guarantee is two days. Anyone would like to purchase packed bread which will be expired in the next day?!!!Also, when I received my order, raw meat are placed in the same bag with fruit!

The managers act like they care, and when the head office guys are around they want to hear about experiences over the years. THE SMARTEST THING to do is get a family member to come here and speak. If you speak up at these events you are targeted, marked and singling yourself out. This place is horrible, to thank staff last year they were given a cupcake, this year a BBQ which was more for the head office folks than staff. This is a very rich company with very LONG TERM staff, I hope my family tells me this year, they were treated with respect, shown real appreciation.

Fantastic customer service! There was an issue with a couple of my trays I ordered for the holidays and when I called them, within two hours a truck arrived to replace the items. Well done! Thank you for your excellent customer service, very much appreciated.
